It would be nice to have a toggle to disable all the MO variants from the menu. There's so much clutter

Mhm, what mods?
Fawx 26. sep. kl. 17:24
Any way to make these able to hold more than just content from the medieval overhaul? I've added a bunch of bows from other mods but none of them show up as an option on the weapon racks for example.

Please note that the mod now has its own mod menu.

Settings that have already been made may need to be reactivated.

I did this primarily so that the settings can now also be translated, as requested in the comments.

The rendering is really cool but yes, more storage would be neat. for exemple the 2x2 vegetable shelf/ empty shelf is my greatest sorrow. I like the graphic but there's no version with fruits thus your mod seems like a good solution.

I have VGP, VEP, VV - New Harvest (full) and the normal MO plants for comparison.

@kittehkatbar : should be fixed

If I remember correctly, it was more of a design decision. Because it looked quite strange when four stacks were squeezed in it. When I have more time again, I can have another look at it.
Geneijin 21. sep. kl. 13:46
I really like the mod so thank you for that. Unless I'm missing something, I've noticed that your storage can hold 3 stacks per tile compared to the MO version, so it kinda feels bad. Could we have an option to raise it to 4 stacks per tile, or do I need another mod ?
(◣_◢)  [ophavsmand] 21. sep. kl. 13:40
That is totally fine. Everyone has their personal preferences and nobody has to use any mods they do not like. I mainly create mods for myself and share them with the community. If there is meaningful feedback I am happy to work it into my mods.

I think the original storages look quite nice and I see no reason to remove them from the game. They can still be used as decoration or as storage if people want to use them.
Kerbeh 21. sep. kl. 13:08
I'm never going to use this mod since it for some unknowable reason keeps the original MO storages even though they effectively do the exact same thing as the new storages added by this mod, and I don't have the patience to manually patch out something that shouldn't be a thing in the first place.
(◣_◢)  [ophavsmand] 18. sep. kl. 2:44
Okay, thanks. I will fix that
kittehkatbar 17. sep. kl. 16:52
The toggle for hiding items in the MO storage buildings is working fine EXCEPT for the "table (dairy)"
Rudi Gauss 14. sep. kl. 7:00
anyone else having no textures and red error spams or know what causes them?

"Tried to SetFactionDirect on DankPyon_Timber1x2Empty77214 which cannot have a faction."
and
"Root level exception in Update(): System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

No problem with other storages.
bradson 13. sep. kl. 3:59
@Rudi Gauss Dependencies on any of ferny's mods definitely don't exist here, and supported versions are as declared on the mod page. It sounds like you downloaded something different and are commenting on the wrong page
Hawkefire 22. aug. kl. 11:23
Seconding the bookshelf request, it would be really neat if they were had storage in addition to their benefits!
tarantio 21. aug. kl. 8:51
@Snuggl If you mean not visible products in containers ,like wheat in barell or crate. Iahd the same problem, and reason was mod Progression Storage, when i remove it, suddenly all are visible as intended and i have like another 20 more storages. But still i dont have a nice looking products inisde the barel like in gif above ,just on top of it like vanilla and i dont have meat hooks for some reason...

I can have look at it
Ashnal 19. aug. kl. 20:49
Could we turn the bookshelves in MO into ones that actually store books/schematics/scrolls, and have adaptive graphics?
(◣_◢)  [ophavsmand] 10. aug. kl. 11:23
If you tell me how, i can do them.
I tried to find an example of a mod, using VEF toggleable patches, but couldn't find one.
Erazil 10. aug. kl. 10:47
Thx for this feature but we need a defname in keyed directory for we can translate the new VFE option for this mod

Thanks in advance :)
(◣_◢)  [ophavsmand] 10. aug. kl. 0:04
I could add this as a toggleable patch
Soka 5. aug. kl. 19:48
Is there a way to remove the default warehouses from the Medieval Overhaul so you can use only the ones from your mod?
blade 1. aug. kl. 0:25
@EvilEyeGuy Nice. Thank you very much. :)
blade 1. aug. kl. 0:23
@polios3 I'll give it a try. Thanks.
Snuggl 31. juli kl. 11:41
I stopped using this mod 1-2 weeks ago because of the problem with the missing textures. Did you fix it? Is the mod good now? 😄
(◣_◢)  [ophavsmand] 31. juli kl. 11:16
Pushed an Update to GH
polios3 31. juli kl. 1:28
@Blade, i will tell you a little secret of GoG society, just use the RimPy. it allows you for nice and easy Steam workshop mod downloads and more.
blade 31. juli kl. 1:06
Shalom,

it is possible to upload your 1.6 Version to Github or Rimworld Base?

Asking for a GOG User :lunar2019piginablanket:

Love & Greetings

"Pike" from medieval overhaul is not added to Any of the Melee racks
(◣_◢)  [ophavsmand] 18. juli kl. 5:41
Thanks. I will have a look at it
polios3 18. juli kl. 2:17
shelf for misc items doesn't have any storage settings
(◣_◢)  [ophavsmand] 17. juli kl. 22:13
Red errors are never normal. You can read the last 5 comments and see if they fix your error. I explain quite well why the errors occur, and there is also a way to prevent them, but I don’t feel like mentioning it in every second comment.
tachi 17. juli kl. 19:18
im getting alot of red on load up about the adaptive storage containers and medieval overhaul. is this normal?
snrnsrkdp 16. juli kl. 12:59
Thank you so much for uploading the old version on GitHub!
That really helps players like me who are still using RimWorld 1.5.
I really appreciate your kindness and support. 🙏
(◣_◢)  [ophavsmand] 16. juli kl. 12:29
I totally forgot... I actually already have a GitHub repo for the mod. Here is the link:
https://github.com/EvilEyeGuy/Medieval-Overhaul-Adaptive-Storage
snrnsrkdp 16. juli kl. 11:54
I did update to the 1.6 version of Medieval Overhaul, but some other Medieval Overhaul-related mods hadn't been updated yet, which caused the game to break.
So I ended up downloading an older version of Medieval Overhaul from GitHub to downgrade back to 1.5.

However, I think the mod may have updated again in the middle of that process (I had Steam set to offline mode, but it must have accidentally gone online at some point 😢), which led to the textures breaking.

That’s why I was asking if there’s any place—like GitHub—where older versions of your mod are available.
I didn’t mean to cause any confusion for you, and I’m really sorry if I did. 🙏
VOID 16. juli kl. 10:01
I seemed to have fixed my problem. I reinstalled MO, as well as reinstall your mod, and all seems to be working now. I don't know exactly what the problem was, maybe mine somehow wasn't up to date
(◣_◢)  [ophavsmand] 16. juli kl. 6:20
Are you using the latest version of Medieval Overhaul?
Regardless of whether you're playing RimWorld 1.5 or 1.6, it's important that you use the latest version of Medieval Overhaul. Otherwise, it's expected that the textures won't display correctly.

I can no longer reproduce the issue on my end. I've tested with the current version of Medieval Overhaul on both RimWorld 1.5 and 1.6, and for me, both empty and filled crates are displayed correctly.

The reason for this is that the folder structure of Medieval Overhaul was changed in the latest update. I’ve updated my mod accordingly to match the new paths. So if you're using an outdated version of Medieval Overhaul but have already updated my mod, it's no surprise that the textures appear incorrectly... or not at all.
snrnsrkdp 16. juli kl. 0:39
Hi! I'm still using RimWorld 1.5 and your patch mod no longer works correctly after the 1.6 update.
All the texture images are broken after the update, and I'd really appreciate it if you could share a GitHub link or a zip file of the last 1.5-compatible version.
Is there any way I can get the old version?
batatazada 15. juli kl. 23:49
May I kindly ask you to remove this "MOxASF Storage" architect menu and override the default MO storages in the "Storage" tab? Would keep a cleaner architect menu
(◣_◢)  [ophavsmand] 15. juli kl. 21:31
are you using the latest version of the unofficial MO?
黎昕-PW 15. juli kl. 17:07
The issue of missing textures occurred in version 1.5. @(◣_◢)
(◣_◢)  [ophavsmand] 15. juli kl. 11:52
Are you playing with 1.5 or 1.6 and what building are you trying to build?
VOID 15. juli kl. 11:12
I'm sorry if I'm being a pain, but I'm still having the same problem after resubscribing :(
(◣_◢)  [ophavsmand] 15. juli kl. 10:05
Should be fixed
VOID 15. juli kl. 8:25
Hi, I've just downloaded the mod, and when the storage space is empty, a big red X is splattered across it. I've tried resubscribing like has been mentioned below, with no difference
polios3 15. juli kl. 8:14
some of my textures are broken.... i forced update like... 10 times... even deleted mod folder myself...
Fraxi 15. juli kl. 7:09
Textures works fine! Tysm
