Thanks! Will test and update.

@AceColtonCook Just took a look, and I think I finally understand what you mean. This model didn't have any Artificial Mass Blocks on it, so that's why you were reporting model drifting (I am assuming your Acclamator was in space). I updated the blueprint to include 2 large grid Artificial Mass Blocks, which can be triggered on the first toolbar of any of the pilots' seats or Remote Controls. I didn't find any issues driving this thing around the planet, so if you have problems there - I'll keep digging.

Did you ever find anything out?
Alec R.  [作者] 8 月 21 日 下午 4:47
@AceColtonCook Alright, will definitely look into it. Thanks for detailed feedback.
AceColtonCook 8 月 21 日 下午 3:05
I tried all of your suggestions, and, nothing worked. I tried to spawn it higher and it literally just floated away. I'm spawning it in the Acclamator. Whenever you have time, you'll have to look at it because it might be a bug.

@AceColtonCook Chassis of the Juggernaut is Large Grid, it could've spawned into terrain as a station. Try spawning it higher up above the ground. Otherwise - no clue, honestly. It's pretty light for what it is, so it should be very capable at driving. Could try playing around with all possible settings on the wheels themselves, especially Friction setting (though they should be setup more or less ok to function out of the box). Will check for myself once I have the opportunity.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I wanted to make sure I double checked everything before I asked.

The tires just spin. They turn and behave like they should otherwise, but they just spin in place. Almost like there's no traction.

-I'm using the front remote control.

-The parking brake is OFF.

-I tried raising/lowering the suspension because I thought I had to lower tires onto the floor? It didn't work.

I'm probably missing something super obvious, but I'm not sure what else to do other than ask.

@Austin_Legend No problem. Have fun!

Probably warbros, one of the classics. Ill throw it into my Venator Refit world chocked full of mods and use the modlist mod to identify the mods on the grid. Its much appeciated, just from that screenshot it looks quite glorious. First order of business is a fresh coat of paint. Also I assure you I would credit you if I were to ever post it, though I doubt I ever would. I tend to get too caught up with projects with these and they end up being neverending ones lol. It will very much make a good suplement for when the Venator feels a little too chunky. Plus with this I dont have to worry about fully refitting a hangar without disfiguring the hull, just a massive landing bay

@Austin_Legend There you go, but be warned, it originally used some sort of ramp mod and some sort of force field. Which ones? No clue. https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3421487456

Oh I would absolutely love it, I havent anything near a good size for one since purrfect blinky's died, and haven't had the time or drive to make my own through an SEToolbox model. Ill have you know big and unfeasible are my thing lol
Alec R.  [作者] 2 月 5 日 上午 1:35
@Austin_Legend Funny enough, I did actually make a 1:1 Acclamator hull many years ago. Never did anything with it though, as I deemed it too big to be feasible in SE. I can send it to you if you want, as it is literally just a relic for me.
Austin_Legend 2 月 5 日 上午 1:26
The mods aint got nothin on me, in fact I add more to it. Even for being outdated, its fun to overhaul, just gets buggy when SE does its funny physics no worky moments. Honestly I hold it as the best Venator on SE. Its got potential. The only thing I cant find is an Acclamator to match its magnitude
Alec R.  [作者] 2 月 4 日 下午 10:50
@Austin_Legend Jesus... surprised anyone still uses it considering how outdated and ugly it is. And that's even ignoring a million mods that come with it.
Austin_Legend 2 月 4 日 下午 10:42
The way back original. https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1751396552
I havent worked on it in a while, last thing I was doing was making a ventral hangar that actually fits a consular, with an extending gangway to such. I also changed out the bridge windows with the bridge windows mod (Dont remember who by but its called that) to make the bridge have its actual windows along with the rest of the ship. Ever since I found it thats always been my go to pet project
Alec R.  [作者] 2 月 4 日 下午 9:54
@Austin_Legend wait wait wait, the original 1:1 or the recent one I posted? Just curious.
Austin_Legend 2 月 4 日 下午 9:49
Logistically understandable. When it comes to these things im extremely anal about details lol. I actually religiously use your 1:1 Venator because it has the right hangars, bridges, engines, and is the only quality blueprint on the workshop with an opening main hangar door. It is literally my go to project to work on, just the games physics are so limited
Alec R.  [作者] 2 月 4 日 下午 9:44
@Austin_Legend Fair. I didn't include it just to avoid a multi-piston wobbly mess that all the other Juggernauts on the Workshop have had.

@blingole Well, that's a statement, not a question. And it will be published soon as I've already promised.
blingole 2 月 3 日 下午 1:16
question i want that accliamtor
Austin_Legend 2 月 3 日 上午 2:33
Definitely swapping out that connector for the actual telescoping post

The man, the myth, the legend blows it out of the water once again. Fantastic work!
Ahsoka Tano 2 月 1 日 下午 1:39
wait wut? I thought once the republic stuff was done you were retiring from SE
Alec R.  [作者] 2 月 1 日 下午 1:37
@Ahsoka Tano, well, I am not done yet, so stay tuned!
Ahsoka Tano 2 月 1 日 下午 1:32
kinda makes me wish someone would come along and make at least similar quality/type CIS stuff, or imperial or rebel stuff, but I'm not holding my breath on that one tbh, oh well, having the republic stuff is still way better than nothing, and by god do I intend to use these ships and ground assets to heavy extent in the future :)
Alec R.  [作者] 2 月 1 日 下午 1:14
@Ahsoka Tano like a boulder off my shoulders, lol. Though I do have to stop and appreciate the fact that people indeed care about what I do, thank you all :cchearts: As for the front turrets - ironically, but it was actually the simplest solution, as literally any other option would either result in completely fixing the weapons in place, or 2+ subgrids. And hey, besides being the simplest - it's also the most accurate, as not a lot of Juggernauts on Workshop actually replicate that pivoting cover.

P.s. rocket pods are also fully conveyored btw, which is completely redundant for regular Rocket Launchers, however , it means you can easily replace them with Ace's Proton Torpedo Launchers, as they are just long enough to accommodate 5-block long launchers.
Ahsoka Tano 2 月 1 日 下午 12:41
Ok, first up, can peeps stop asking for a release date for the win98 cursor (yes, I'm gonna keep calling that, it's funny AF, deal with it), it'll come when Alec is ready, not when you want it, secondly, @Alec R. you mad genius, you actually managed to make this better than I expected mate, you made the rockets fit in seamlessly, and that underside weapons setup is actually pretty well done too, I can't even find it without opening it :D
captainrex 1 月 31 日 下午 6:45
when are you going to release the acclamator
Alec R.  [作者] 1 月 31 日 下午 2:01
@Ahsoka Tano that hull was made many years ago in the same 9/16ths as Venator, so roughly ~420 meters (nice) if I am remembering correctly. So while it's not 1:1, it will be correctly scaled to the Venator.
Ahsoka Tano 1 月 31 日 上午 8:32
Ok, now I have to ask: HOW BIG IS THE WIN98 CURSOR?! (loving this stuff btw lol, the all caps is supposed to be that over the top shock effect, no idea if that's how it comes out)
