If you download the "Aldarith's Weaponsounds" mod its doesn't have those sounds :)

I think i agree with gui. The m4 sounds way too "heavy and metallic" i dunno how to describe... that would sound beefier for the m249... and m16 sound is similar to the m249

Funny you should say the M249 sound suck though, they're pretty similar to what one might hear in videos.

I know there's a difference betwen video audio in real life and I've never personally handled an m249 but there's definitely a similarity between whats heard in this pack and the following vidya:

The sounds from 0:50-1:13 were all sourced from Rune :D

You can hear all the others in the Hel levels.
