I found all the spells. I put them on the quickbar but they don't work. Maybe because I don't have armor?

It is nice and effective. Some guidance may be needed on how to get it in the game and how to find and use the spells. I found the magic staffs and the ice wall spell but loaded on the quick bar it doesn't work, please help me
