This honestly makes sense cause they can still feel pain cause they aren't dead hence why they're called (Infected) instead of like (Undead) or (Zombies) so it just makes sense but even if they didn't feel pain that doesn't mean their bodies won't react like okay you didn't feel the pain of me breaking your arm but you still cannot use it either way
