I'm using gmod's built-in DropWeapon function, so unfortunately that behavior is out of my control and not something I can directly fix

I noticed that sometimes, when a weapon has a p_ model (model used for player holding weapon in thirdperson), mostly Goldsource models, the script always calls that p_ model instead of the w_ model (worldmodel), which isn't good, since most p_ models are bad and inconsistent.

It was originally called that, but I changed it to +dwdropammo so it would have the same prefix as +dwdrop. I just forgot to update the chat message

The message for +dwdropammo not being bound is wrong, it says to bind a key for "You do not have a key bound for +dwammodrop!"

i want it to only drop 1 specific item if that person has it in the inventory, couldn't get it to work unfortunately

You can use the utilities whitelist or if you want to drop only your primary weapon you can enable that in the options

Try reinstalling both of them. I did not change or overwrite any default GLua function

An incompatibility with Custom Chat (id=2799307109): Player:Nick() fails to return the player's steam name, instead it returns "Unconnected".
No issues if either only this mod or only Custom Chat is enabled.

Ah the reserve ammo. Well, you cannot directly drop it but dropped weapons will retain the reserve ammo you had (excluding weapons dropped manually)
