The beta patch for the upcoming patch seems to show Bretonnia has gotten a few graphical updates, for example the Knights lances are finally colorful again.

Do you think it would be possible for you to adjust this mod so that our units can be bloody again?

I only ask because I love this mod along with all of your other mods, but its really odd not seeing blood and gore on the units.

I realize that its a long-shot asking this of you but I figure its better to ask than not to ask.

Royal Hyppogryph knights don't seem to get the multi-color heraldry treatment, is that intentional?

Its not just the men at arms who lack blood and gore, the knights of the realm also lack it or at least their horses do. it sucks that we have to choose between our knights and peasants getting bloody or looking proper. but I am sure you did your best.

@opgplay236: is due probably to the fact that I used rigid.models instead wsmodels. Using wsmodel mand at amrs models will lost tertiary faction colour mask.

@Mercenary JAX lily's bretonnia works fine, just don't expect heraldry to work on men-at-arms with polearms & shields, it just needs a submod for this

I found out what was causing the paladin and lord horses to turn invisible. It's the Warhammer 1 Texture Update Project mod. I tried changing mod order but these two mods just seem to clash together.

The new unit_variant_table breaks the unit_variant_colours_table for the lords and paladins, the names are no longer correct

@Duke that's the problem with lods in vanilla, and it isn't just in campaign map, but also in battle (most visible on paladins, it's comical)

apparently the problem is caused by... Faction unit cards by Spartan IV... this is the LAST mod i've suspected, and i really have no clue as to WHY it's the one that has problems with this...

@Stolas Goetia: try to unsubscribe all mods removing eventually remaining packfiles. Make a check of integrity of your game and then subscribe only my mod and try again

tested without any texture/model mods & whatnot, the heraldry on shielded men-at-arms seems to only work on couronne & carcassonne, other factions still use the vanilla squares/triangles/rectangles instead of featuring the faction's coat of arms, and i really can't put a finger on why they aren't working

@Stolas Goetia Ok I just tested the issue, and it seems to be a problem on the campaign map only in my case, doesn't matter if its a rebel lord or not, their shields are blank grey. To test, just create a Lord on the campaign map and look at his shield. @Gigiauz I hope this will be an easy fix for you if you have the time to look into it.

@stolas Goetia wait did you mean during battle or on the campaign map. because I tested the men at arms with shields and spearmen at arms with shields in battle and I had no issues, their shields had their faction symbol on them.

why is the bretonnian lord shield entirely gray...? I think it might have to do with what @krillkongen pointed out, except it isn't just for rebels

@Murthór Oathstóne i just checked and it seems like the heraldry works on couronne, but not on artois & borderlaux... i'll see if any other factions have this problem, and no, i don't have any other mods that affect bretonnia

Fantastic as usual, love to see your mods back!
The only bug i have found are that some of the Rebel Lord shields call for nonexistent textures, this can be fixed be using the wsmodel files instead of the rigid model files.
Speaking of different colours, i was finally able to get the unit_variants_colours_tables working for the Royal Hippogryph Knights again.

Anyway I hope that the Vampire counts are next up on the list for porting your mods over from WH2 to WH3. Southern realms just doesn't feel appropriate without getting the main factions out of the way first.

Hi Gigiauz,

First of all, I want to just say that this is an excellent mod! The knights look really amazing!

I tested the mod with my bugfix mod and it is crashing, but I think I figured out the cause. Since you have imported some of the db tables from my mod, you need to change just the names of the tables so they overwrite mine. That way the tables in your mod take precedence and it should not crash the game.

Thank you Murthor for finding out about the conflict with visual bug fixex! I was trying to find the reason for the game crashing with this mod and i always thought it was because of Bretonnia mods. But it is because of visual bug fix mod!

I really hope the authors of both mods are willing to find a way to make both work. It would really be a waste if not.
