So i removed a lot of mods from my custom folder. Restarted the game 2 times and the helmet didn't show up until the 3rd try, but didnt crash so, thanks.

Checked it out just now with only my mod enabled and it didn't crash, strange. Try disabling all the other mods except for mine and check if it still crashes. If i had to guess, it's probably one of the viewmodel (weapons, hands) mods that is causing the crash.

IDC what you guys say, there are far too many reasons for Gordon to be wearing a helmet during HL1, main one being common sense, who would operate the Anti-Mass Spectrometer without a helmet? And once you start seeing explosions I know for a fact any sane person wouldn't dare take it off (also Gordon has the Geiger counter, if those environments could only be survived in with a suit, he would die without a helmet)

Kinda fits into the Damocles lore,cuz the scientists thought that the character we play as in damocles is Freeman(I almost sayed Feeman cuz my keyboard tried to sabotage me)

This is something that "Freeman's Mind" Gordon would be ECSTATIC over, seriously, it just isn't a full HEV suit without the helmet, honestly, how could they forgot that very basic, elemental fact?
