You can target specific parts of a zombie now, you can literally aim WHERE YOU WANT. There is a bullet trajectory simulation happening behind the scenes. How the hell is RNG more realistic than that? LOL
If you use freelook (R-Stick + R1) to move the cursor to the zombies head, then fire, it will hit.
I did notice that the M14 seems to work without manually freelook aiming, but I can't get it to work consistently.

Secondly, i can confirm, that the mod is working as of the current build 42.7, but it seems to need some update, since even with maximum aim, with a rifle, the outline doesnt became green on zombies far away, only on those near the character.
Bare in mind this was tested with the mod ATRO, maybe it has some influence in that, but that mod helps register better the shots.

BUT if you played using controller or SteamDeck since update 42.7.0 the dev botch the aiming function for firearm for controller and SteamDeck. Before the 42.7.0 update it working fine.
So even if you aim right it will not hit. It will hit when the target directly on the end of your firearm. Look for Arsenal explanation in other thread that talk about aiming.
I don't see any outlines on NPCs
@Kreb Since the last update the outline almost never shows up, only for a fraction of a section if the zeds are right in front of me, 1 time out of 10. I've been aiming and shooting in PZ for a long time with the gamepad so it's definitely not my aiming skill :) Could this mod's targeting logic somehow have been affected by the new version, with a super narrow angle?
Since this is the only way to do multiplayer now, could you fix it? Thanks!
