I solved it by crafting a T2 Multitool while repairing the generators with my T1. After this I disassembled 2 small generators and put one large generator in. After this, the base needs the T2 CPU (Vanilla).

This base is absolutely amazing. Well designed, excellent choice of materials. Only Problem: the generators are too small to drive the constructor - they will blow up.
