1000 to 1700 in the lower gears and 1050 to 1500 in top gear but in real world driving . ive found the dt12 at 1000 to 1650 rpm is a good mix if power and crusing , the dt12 constally chage's the shift patterns according to terane and the weight of the load the rpm ive listed is full throttle shifts

@sik050: If you don't mind me asking, what is the 'normal' up-shift and down-shift rpm range with an average load?

SCS has this set at;

rpm_range_low_gear: (800, 1500)
rpm_range_high_gear: (975, 1370)

As an AMT doesn't 'technically' have low or high gears, what do you think I should set this at?

Adjusted down-shift to 1400 -1900 rpm. Also reset engine brake positions to 3.

Adjusted the engine brake to (1400, 1900) rpm. See how that goes.

Engine brake is currently set at SCS default - rpm_range_engine_brake: (1800, 2300) - but I might have a play around with the settings and see what I can come up with.

Haven't adjusted these settings before so I'm not sure what effect it will have, but I presume if I set it to (1500, 1900) the engine brake will work between that rpm range.

hi the engine brake is great now its just a little high ti go's at or sometimes past redline is
the rpm adjustable at all?? 1900rpm shoud be the max upshift

Enabled engine brake downshift. Forgot to mention the engine brake now has 4 positions - high, medium, low, off.

hi Bruce can anything be tweeked with the way the engine brakes work . the down shifts are way to low ,[1500 down to 1100 ] then the down shift [ more realistic 1900 down to 1400/1500 then down shift is how the dt12's drive when using the jakes . S#$T now i just look needy lol

awsome job Bruce i can actually build the truck ive ordered 6 months ago 49X ,72inch high roof sleeper ,dd16 @ 560hp and 2050ft/lb dt12 with 3.08 diff gears low geared to save fuel and i only do single trailer work
