POV: Random RGN or RGN from combine in close combat

Can you add a convar to disable the new voicelines? I don't really like AI stuff. If not that's totally OK too!

how i did it was i made it where when they threw a grenade it would swap it out for the same entity you throw (grenade) and it copies the force from the combine grenade and transfers that to the eft grenade

did some tweaking with my limited knowledge about lua, swapping the grenades from eft to mw, and it turns out combines throw mw grenades under their own feet now and keep kill themselves. hilarious af and I have no idea how to fix this lolol

wonder if it could be tweaked to using mw grenades instead?

Got it working, turns out of the spawner mods I have causes Combine to not able to throw grenades anymore? Zippys dynamic spawner I think it's called might be called something else.

Huh, this doesn't seem to be working for me? I haven't gotten to them to throw a grenade, they have stopped throwing grenades altogether, is this incompatible with Ai mods maybe?

I am excited to test this out, this would make combine grenades absolutely lethal!

i love this mod because its actually fucking terrifying whenever a combine soldier lobs a grenade at you because of how short the fuse time on some of the grenades are

@5SaneK5 it is definetly not a VFX explosion. They throw different grenade types and that fragmentate just how the regular EFT grenades would. The vanilla grenades have 0 fragmentation.

What gore mod did you use?

also bug when you throw grenade, and explosion effect happens inside combine - issue with mystery ac impact effects, delete it/ change with smth else and it should dissapear, tell me if im wrong

it seems like this mod deletes original grenades, now combines try to shot ar2 balls with smg, instead of rifle grenade

@Mister twister No, it's just a vfx of an explosion that does nothing, only gives away their position and the fact that they threw a grenade

does this make vj npcs run from grenades or is it only base game npcs?

ok but fr, i did actually try doing a jmod replacement right after i made this, but kept encountering this issue where everytime they threw a grenade, it was a dud, i'm not entirely sure how to explain it but it just didnt work at all, like none of the grenades they threw actually worked. and they WERE armed, i tried a few things like changing the timer and state of what they were thrown in but it just didnt work unfortunately. i'm sure it is possible but i couldn't figure it out for now

alright, added it where you can change any of the grenade types to be active, if all are off then they'll just use regular hl2 grenades

I love this mod but is there anyway to make them only throw certain types of grenades? The flashbangs are cool n stuff but the stun lasts like 90 seconds :(

This actually makes the EFT mods even better to use now!! I was wondering if it could be possible to add NPC melee support? (NPCs being able to use the EFT melees.)
