why can i make a molotov with an empty bottle??

@Aguacate Could you add the crafting variant of the Molotov with a glass bottle of gasoline?,Last time I played I didn't have the ability to craft it this way, neither in vanilla nor with your mod.

@Warrior Cris yes finally i added to the recipe the 300ml bottle, because is too difficult to find a 1000ml beer bottle

Is the empty glass bottle going to be added? I cant find an empty beer bottle over 300ml but I have several glass bottles at 1000ml but it wont let me use those instead.

@aguacate how do i craft the molotov? i tried the crafting menu and right clicking on the bottle

For a SIMPLE molotov, it's really not simple since it needs specifically 1000ml bottles. Those that aren't beer bottles, but spirit bottles...

@Przemson you have to put the molotov in your main and the disposable lighter in your second hand.

Hello, sorry for not specifying it, I did not realize that there were several sizes of bottles, in this case, you need the 1000ML as you said @mosman, since there are sizes of 300ml.

Mod has a problem with empty beers but works fine with whiskey, vodka, etc.

Beer bottles come in two sizes, large and small, so please use a bottle with a capacity of 1000ml.

Only works with liquour bottles, doesn't work with empty beer bottles and gas.

won't let me craft a molotov even though I have everything because I think it believes the bottle is still sealed even though it isn't, but I can't do anything because the bottle is already opened

I can't create it, I already have the empty bottle and the gasoline and the cloth, but it shows that I don't have the bottle

for the people asking about empty beer bottles not working, in b42 it seems even empty beer bottles start off as 'sealed' so you may need to open them first?

I just adjusted the recipe a little, but I see that I can make a Molotov cocktail with gasoline. All you need is an empty beer bottle and a cloth. It consumes 1L of gasoline, although I think it should be 500ml.

Confirming the two bugs here. Empty beer bottles in inventory but greyed out on crafting window. Bottles are not favorited. Can't craft gas molotov with gas.
And whiskey molotovs can be crafted but does not consume any whiskey.

I think there is a bug - alcohol is not consumed when crafting

I could craft and use them perfectly well. My only issue was the vodka bottle was never used up when crafting, the rag did. As long as I had rags I could make as many as I wanted.
