Hi, there is an ongoing thing about the base level of the "water surface" which changes ... well.. checking it and odds are good Im gonna fix it soon™ :)

Something odd going on with the terrain height, the cursor doesn't accurately depict where units will move to. It seems to be several meters off the ground, which means units will stop short of where the cursor is based on your perspective. I checked the original maps and its its only with some custom maps

Hotfix update applied. They also changed something in the way LoS are baked into the map it seems. Please notice me of any bugs that are occuring after that patch...

The map looks great, but the problems are the line of sight, overall distance, and terrain. First LOS, it is too good. Recon can park in the town between Delta and Alpha in the church and see everything to Foxtrot. The distance is wrong by 1500m-2000m. Foxtrot in WGRD is around 3500m to 4000m wide. Foxtrot in this mod is about 1500m-2000m wide. This means a single TOW-2 in T-Forest can cover basically everything in Foxtrot and shoot halfway across into Delta. Overall, it's too compressed. The terrain is too flat, but that is most likely the map editor. From the Center Town, you can see and shoot up the hill into the next town towards spawn. You couldn't do this in WGRD. Thank you for reading, and I would love for the map to be adjusted.

@Kel is it possible ot just increase the overall size so it fits the ranges in wgrd more? I know it might be bit too much over the top but ranges in wgrd are like 3/5 of warno, so the city in the middle (the big one - not the small one on the road) in wgrd is never able to fire at the road for example (the main one) even with 2,8km range

Destruction Game mode will come with the >required< mod update due to the release of Northag :)

Also, with the reduction of overall size, as some already mentioned, the balance might be a lil off.
So, we have two choice here:
a) Leave it be so it doesnt change the way it looks (aka mudfight purism)
b) Do some small adjustments to increase balance. If we decide to go down that route, input for any balance problems would be welcome.

Agree with Nico it seems unbalanced after testing.
Maybe make the zones half the size be a good thing too.

Hi, first thing thx you for sharing this with us.

But i have few issues :

The side with 2 town is automatic win due to the town and the fact that opponent has pretty much no cover to hide from the atgm posted in the 2 town.

Also, the side with towns seems to have better roads.

leading to many cv lost and huge advantage for opponent

Solutions :

Maybe add some forest area or a vilage in the center of the map.

Same thing for the side near the river, its too open and one sided.

@Gattsu There is limited love in the overall way that range/size/distance multipliers work for warno / also - vision ranges into forests are different (and much higher) compared to RD.
But it still looks kinda fun so... :)

looks great but ranges are all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up (not really your fault i would say) but from gameplay perspective it would be broken for the top side as atgms easily reach everything from the middle city (the big one - not the deadtown)

The detail level for that one is limited so much faster to finish :) Most time went into trying to fix that tessalation bug :(
