That may be the only reason why I can think of, though I never manage to get it crash on my end so I unfortunately am unsure why you crash aside the potential larger image resolution :(

im presuming the lag could potentially be because of how i rendered the zoom out varient of the map (that is esentially around 5k instead of the original 2k because of me wanting to make it HQ but i think that is the vector of some peformance issues, mb)
I may push another update later on to lower the resolution to see if that reduces any issues of the lag by some margins.
