If it doesn't work when you subscribe:
1. Manually download the mod archive from the gamebanana site (Link in description)
2. Create a ‘custom’ folder in steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2
3. Create a sub-folder ‘my_custom’ in steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\hl2\custom
4. Copy the folders from the archive into it
5. Launch the game!
It should work, for me it does.
(No need to subscribe to the mod on the workshop)

yo dont remove it, its like working perfectly fine for me except for the subtitles but i dont really care about it. i personally think these particles are like way superior than the default particles that the game uses.

yeaah, this mod just so buggy and broken at the same time. maybe it is better to remove this mod from workshop

hey! for some reason this mod and mostly all the others in your profile break subtitles, i am not an expert to say the exact cause but i did some tests and everytime i enabled as much as one mod in your workshop the subtitles would break, hopefully it is an easy fix but i am just writing in case anyone else runs into this problem
