sorry dev
yeah for those of you wondering: the problem xml seems to reference the soviet mod mines, and left an open comment that blocks all but the single <Defs> tag...which means the closing </Defs> tag is also hidden. this causes the error.
two ways to fix this is to remove the open comment, and have duplicate calls to the soviet mines, no biggie, or just before </Defs>, close the comment.
or in theory remove the xml all together since it doesnt seem to do anything anyway, but idk if i'd play that gamble since im not the dev. it might be anchored to something or something.
i simply closed it off and no longer seem to have a parsing error
Everyone, I can continue my passion next month. Thank you for your supports!
- 25pdr = a high rate of fire heavy gun
- 2pdr pompoms = most of all in the eight barrel mounts; just a lot of 40mm dakka. And they're just cool.
- 4.5 inch medium gun = long range (map tiles) with small-ish explosion but a lot of heavy frag (thinking most about CE)
- Hedgehog = a weird but fun one lol. 24 heavy mortars (178mm) in a wide spread with limited range. That could be so fun for a close range burst weapon
You could go on and on into the crazy heavy stuff, or make a page lost list, but I'll try and hold off lol
If you were open to adding more options, I'd like to see the QF-25 Pounder Howitzer, and the Bofors 40mm cannon. They are both iconic British WWII weapons, and would fill a role not otherwise covered by the existing assets ( an indirect fire cannon, and a rapid-fire auto-cannon.)
