I don't see a surgery option for them, nor a right-click option to just do it. Will it go away on its own over time, or am I stuck with all my mechanoids downed forever?
Maybe it's because I got it pretty early on in the game, but the entity itself was an absolute nightmare to kill - it ended up wrecking 2/3 of my base before i stopped it, leaving me to survive in the ruins during an extreme desert summer without building mats.
With that in mind, the oodles of bioferrite that the thing spits out once contained felt like a fair reward -- though I could see it feeling overpowered if you get the threat later in the game, when you have a dozen pawns with assault rifles that can go kill it before it ever reaches your structures. Maybe some way to scale the entity threat to wealth/colony size would be good? Maybe making the entity stronger, or making it spawn *in* your base with sufficient raid points? That second option could get *extremely* destructive though.
All in all, I'd say that this is the best anomaly mod I've seen so far -- it's polished and it feels like a natural addition to the game.
