is there a multiplier for inbred or cell instability pawns cloning leading to even more mutations?
Grand Admiral Thrawn 14. nov. kl. 20:56
I keep having an issue where an embryo turns into 20-30 kids of the same exact type, or a pregnant mother has multiple children (none of which look like either father or mother). I've got a hefty modlist, let me know what info you need and where to grab it and I can put it in a post or something.
Suckeychicken 27. sep. kl. 18:54
@Unhelpful Player Gaming does it have 1.6 in its tags?
Unhelpful Player Gaming (VCMute) 27. sep. kl. 10:50
just wanna know, is this updated for 1.6?
Maulaiy 20. sep. kl. 6:02
Fix for the "Infinite Baby Bug": I also use Rimdark 40K mods which were loaded below "Biotech Cloning (Continued).

So load your mods like this:
Rimdark 40K
Biotech Cloning (Continued)

For me it was only Rimdark40K causing these issues. But I put the Cloning mod to the bottom of my modlist just to be extra safe.
Hope I could help :)
Wildcatpanther 19. sep. kl. 21:52
Ive got the infinite baby bug and i went thru my mod list and i found at least for me it was from rimdark 40k. as soon as i disabled that mod it was running fine
speedentron 17. sep. kl. 2:50
Any update with the infinite babies issue?
Dust 15. sep. kl. 19:56
Could not get the gene loss bug to happen again, so no idea what caused it. Tested restarts, progenitor no longer being on map, etc. Just works normally now.

Mod settings however consistently reset on game restart however.
carriertank 14. sep. kl. 19:44
post a discussion with the log in the debug console not sure if will help but here you go.
Dust 14. sep. kl. 15:19
Can confirm, mutation settings seem to reset on restart.

Other oddity, wondering if anyone else is having: Babies have no genes except the clone gene, if their progenitor is no longer on map when they are finally cloned? I made some embreyos of prisoners before releasing them, made clones later, they are marked as the proper xenotype, but missing the genes.
Suckeychicken 14. sep. kl. 13:07
namely mutations
Suckeychicken 13. sep. kl. 19:58
some of the settings appear to be resetting.
Remissdam 5. sep. kl. 12:30
Gary?
Sithril 29. aug. kl. 5:16
Gene processor always added only +2. Maybe you had a mod active that increased it, @Beaver3 ?
Beaver3 24. aug. kl. 22:59
How come gene processor adds +2 genetic complexity now only :(
Ness 24. aug. kl. 13:02
How do you get more max complexity?
Vibez 23. aug. kl. 15:57
hey i was just wondering my embryo is on the ground and i have selected to place it in vat but nothing is happening
Commandochief 17. aug. kl. 19:06
Ah perfect!
Guarwo 16. aug. kl. 4:18
ye it works for 1.6
Commandochief 15. aug. kl. 21:27
Is this the one that works for 1.6

[Dark.Cloning] No clone data found for birtherThing GrowthVat471714.
[Dark.Cloning] Null clone data - skipping.
Exception ticking GrowthVat471714 (at (88, 0, 169)). Suppressing further errors. Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
[Ref 48C9EBA8]

The first two are yellow warnings and the third is a red error it says. Are these any use you? For some reason the vat just start spewing babies, im not entirely sure why.
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 13. aug. kl. 13:27
Not really, I have seen it. :) Your log excerpts were more important. Thanks!
Ein-Mettbrötchen 13. aug. kl. 13:27
I uploaded footage of the bug in action if that helps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFbJ998V82c
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 13. aug. kl. 13:09
Thank you! You provided a lot of excellent info that will hopefully help me keep working towards squashing this heinous bug.
Ein-Mettbrötchen 13. aug. kl. 13:08
Still it's extremly commendable for you even bothering to do this, thank you
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 13. aug. kl. 13:01
Everything works great in the lab; it's when you put it out into the world and you're dealing with mod interactions, that things get ugly quickly.
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 13. aug. kl. 13:00
Yes, but as you can see from the error log you provided, many mods touch the same method the cloning mod does. ApplyBirthOutcome. I'll need to take a look at what each of the mods are doing, so as to see what I might be able to do, or what I might recommend to them.
Ein-Mettbrötchen 13. aug. kl. 12:59
@zackylove101 As far as I am aware Biotech Cloning is the only cloning mod in my bloated mod list. I think I have no mod installed solely focused on pregnancies.
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 13. aug. kl. 12:52
Ok, good, good, enough. Lol. Notice what these all have in common? "ApplyBirthOutcome" ... this will probably be a nightmare! Thanks for the report!

@Ein-Mettbrötchen By any chance do you use any other mods related to cloning or pregnancies? Im also having that issue but it appears to be caused from the mod "Samesex IVF", as when ever I disable that mod it doesn't spew baseliners.

That error is relevant, but I need more than just that first line. Start there and give me as much as you can.
Ein-Mettbrötchen 13. aug. kl. 12:40
Could this error be the culprit? The log is 4657 characters long so I can't post it here.

Exception ticking GrowthVat447639 (at (163, 0, 154)): System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 13. aug. kl. 12:28
So many things touch the birth code, I have discovered. It's been like Whack-A-Mole.
Ein-Mettbrötchen 13. aug. kl. 12:27
I have a mere 443 mod active so I'd guess a mod conflict but I'm too much of a dunce to determine the cause. Yes an error was generated but it's above the comment character limit.
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 13. aug. kl. 11:55
Yes, yes it is. I suspect a mod conflict but I have yet to determine exactly what or how to prevent it. Was any error generated when it occured?
Ein-Mettbrötchen 13. aug. kl. 11:53
I'm experiencing a bug where a stream of baseliner babies spawn perpetually from the growth vat, is that the multiple baby issue?
Guarwo 12. aug. kl. 10:59
Thanks
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 12. aug. kl. 10:58
Sure! Completely different systems.
Guarwo 12. aug. kl. 10:58

using a grenneer mod need cloning to make work thank you

Growth vat.

You should be able to swap this one in mid-save, no guarantees though. Make a backup!
