Great job ! Awesome engine sound, I used it with a 730 hp unit but after changing to 770 it doesn't work :(

Seems to not work with the "new" 770hp engine from SCS (as opposed to the one from drivetrain revision) on 1.57?

sounds great specially the gear whine within acceleration is badass, but i think it lacks sound when we stop throttle, its an abrupt silence if not for the tires noise, also the engine braking volume should be a little bit higher

best mod for v8 i try a lot of sound and this is best it work 1.57 with new scania v8

Ik it doesn't, it has that sound like it has that valve thingy happening. Might be a audio glitch on my part

@Goku wants segs ETS2 doesn't have that much complex in engine system, so idk what you're talking about

The engine seems to have kind of a turbo lag effect. When accelerating, it has this muffled beggining when changing gears and just after the valves seem to open up. Idk if it's the result of the mod, or I have to change smth in game

Does it work on Fred's Scania?

The engine sound is great, but something is wrong with the mod, it muffles and intermitently pauses every sound inside the cabin when the windows are up. I tried deactivating the sound fix pack but still happens so there's no compatibility issues... Hope it gets fixed soon, this is one the best engine sounds I could find for the Scania S that are not racing truck open pipe bs

I do still find the idle a bit low especially when it's raining, is it just how the idle of dsc14 sounds or you intentionally lowered it?

Hello @SlavJerry, sorry for the late update,I hear the engine braking sound now just like in the yt video. No errors found either, haven't played for a while so not sure if you updated it or my ears is just confusing me before lol

Also, the idle does sound a bit low or quiet for dsc14 as well. Haven't tried other trucks yet

I'd love to see more stock engine sounds like for Volvo, Renault, and ect.

Sounds lovely, been using it for a while now. only thing I don't like is after one of recent updates (I think?) the idle sound feels a little too quiet.

If you want a stock V8 that sounds way better then SCS, this is the one, I love it. It has a deep stock sound. The sound mixing of the truck effects is perfect as well. With most soundmods the retarder is way too loud for me, this one is spot on. The first time I load the game I still had the SCS stock sound, but when I loaded the game again it did work. Keep up the good work my friend, we need a good stock V8 and you delivered!

Nice work Slavjerry, could you do the same just for STREAMLINE and RJL? Please leave the engine sound as it is, just "saturate" it with a louder exhaust and the sound of the turbine because it is just not enough. That's the case when the developers did something better than the guys from the people

Why do the 520 hp and 580 hp engines for the Streamline cause "R 500" to be shown on the front of the truck?

this mod dosent add new sound, game vanilla and then this mod. I have exit and enter game but it does nothing.

To be more specific on the left earbud it has much more vibration and mine couldn't handle it after some hours but it might be completly seperate issue with Sennheiser earbuds maybe its not even the mods fault anyways i already got a replacement , i guess it was meant to be broken lol i can delete the comment if you would like because i am only %50 sure that its this mod caused it anyways have a good day @SlavJerry

@SlavJerry i dont blame you at all it's all good but it happened to me so it could happen to anyone ,
My earphone couldn't handle the bass from the exhaust i think maybe it was going to break anyway but if you could lower the bass a bit on the left side it may help

unfortunatelly with this update you ruined the NG Scania, in the company I work for there is a 660S scania and the sound from the previous update was spot on, this one after update is nothing like a real Scania NG V8...

@Black Dragon yeah in this update I decided to TEMPORARILY gives euro 6 engines the sound of NG (as the new re-recorded SCS scania 770hp is coming). as after my thorough research I've come to a conclusion that euro 6 engines in 6 series sounds much closer to NG than previous euro 5 engines.
