Uploaded a new update, things will be a bit more polished in-game. No saves will be broken.
Emil  [pembuat] 9 jam yang lalu
@Emerald, You do so by tendering to the most influential factions. Look on the baseline support tooltip under your biggest faction and it will reveal things you can control.

I’ll add some more tooltips explaining this in the future.

VenecoHead 17 jam yang lalu
Where exactly in Change Log do we find the old version?
One Proud Brazilian 21 jam yang lalu
Nice!

I hope the next DLCs focus on trade and republics, italy focus with a XIII century start date for peak entertainment :)

Update landed early everyone.
Save games are broken, if you wish to continue your old saves, the previous version of the mod can be downloaded under Change Log.

Emil  [pembuat] 23 jam yang lalu
Thanks! I will play the DLC first and make up mind on the Silk Road afterwards. It seems very innovation based, but let us see what it brings.

Heads up: There will come out a pretty big update for this mod soon. I don't want to say too much, I'd like it to be a surprise. :) It won't be a lot of "content", but I can promise you it will be interesting. Save games will break, so if you'd like to keep playing on your save you should back-up the mod and put it locally into your mod folder.
Emil  [pembuat] 10 Okt @ 2:24pm
@GilverFortuna Can you elaborate what republican traditions you are referring to?
@Wulfhund I'm looking into it. Maybe not in the next update, but probably the one after.
Wulfhund 8 Okt @ 1:01pm
Is there a possibility of small city states getting the ability to form leagues in a similar way the Hansa formed.

The ability to act together to boycott trade with lieges who don't cooperate and such would add alot of depth to the game.
GilverFortuna 7 Okt @ 8:19am
It's really infuriating that some republican traditions that can only be unlocked by Admin/Feudal government cannot be unlocked by plutocratic government.
Bovino 17 Agu @ 3:07pm
also you should add plutocracy to other republics and I don't know if this is a decision but add one to make a plutocracy.
Bovino 17 Agu @ 3:06pm
what songs do you use?
qwerty 15 Agu @ 6:05am
Hi, not sure if it's supposed to happen, but on succession the new Doge will often only receive the capital only - the rest is split amongst the family of the previous ruler. Is that a bug or supposed to happen?
Emil  [pembuat] 6 Agu @ 11:22am
Good idea! :)
srelect 6 Agu @ 9:59am
I would love to see the Republic of Ragusa as a formable kingdom
georgiaboy4 16 Jul @ 10:35am
Thanks for this mod!
Etherealizer 15 Jul @ 2:48am
This is a great mod. I hope you stay motivated to continue it.
Nesserino 14 Jul @ 7:54am
Is there already an event for the nobility rebellion that made Novgorod into a Republic in this mod? If not there should be an event or a decision for it

Also consider changing the name for slavic Plutocratic realms from "Most Serene Republic" to something more appropriate like "Veche Republic"
Mr. Bones 11 Jul @ 8:27pm
Love that you expanded this mod to include Pisa and Genoa
owenza777 7 Jul @ 9:40pm
CTD for me. Does this have any requirements other than Roads to Power?
Iwen 6 Jul @ 2:21pm
Funny thing happened where I got elected for a title while I'm an entirely different feudal kingdom (I did a crusader kingdom splitoff,) which I gave to a merchant family to turn it back into a republic. I was the only heir of the previous Doge, which made me eligible as a "ruler heir" candidate for the election. The main fix would be to simply forbid any current non-republican rulers I assume.

With this, all the other land-holding families became feudal dukes of their titles.
So now there's "Jarl Antoni Ricardsson of en Bas Family Palace."

+ would it be possible to have a system where current Lord-Mayors are eligible to be given plutocratic family titles? Kind of odd that they're established in a republic, but never gain such titles so they're just stuck as counts. What I mean is: when a new plutocratic family has to come in, it should first consider already landed plutocratic rulers for noble families + estates.
Donal77 6 Jul @ 2:56am
Yes I am, after I revoked a baron's title my estate disappeared.
Emil  [pembuat] 4 Jul @ 10:46am
Are you experiencing that issue on a fresh save?
Donal77 4 Jul @ 6:32am
Is there any way to get your estate back after it disappears?
Emil  [pembuat] 4 Jul @ 12:40am
Sure, I'll take a look at that. That makes sense.
Iwen 3 Jul @ 7:07pm
Would it be possible to have the duchy of the capital (if it exists) be transferred to the successor upon election? Sort of like how in Byzantium, Thrace always goes with the emperor.

The successor does get the capital city of the republic, but the duchy with it (in this case, Barcelona) doesn't go to the new doge. Kinda messes up the insides of the realm although it's not mechanic-breaking.
chronicterror 3 Jul @ 10:46am
could you check if the mod is the reason for the lack of skill in the sedentary ruler?

Emil  [pembuat] 2 Jul @ 1:24am
I'm glad to hear that.
chronicterror 1 Jul @ 5:57pm
played for a long period of time, did not notice the bug with the disappearance of the estate. It seems that the fix worked as it should. thank you author.
Emil  [pembuat] 1 Jul @ 4:48pm
Yeah, it's a bit hardcoded by PDX. I did try to encourage it a bit more. I recommend giving land to landless patricians, then they will marry a lot more.
Iwen 1 Jul @ 3:38pm
Yep it's fixed! Another thing that seems to be happening (that I've reported before) is how patricians don't really like to get married, so still kinda an issue. So they end up having their lines die out and I get all their stuff. I do have mods on so I might try running without it to see what happens.
Emil  [pembuat] 1 Jul @ 3:20am
I uploaded an update that fixes it for the most common occurance of losing the domicile. Let me know, if you still experience this at times.
Emil  [pembuat] 1 Jul @ 3:13am
Thanks, I'm working on a fix.
chronicterror 30 Jun @ 5:09pm
https://ibb.co/spQ9yjpp - here the estate is still in place

https://ibb.co/dwNgqqYT - here after the title was taken away, the estate disappeared
chronicterror 30 Jun @ 5:04pm
I tried playing for the Republic of Visby in 1178. I noticed that when I take away the title from the baron, my estate disappears. I read your comments and see that I am not the only one with this problem.
Iwen 30 Jun @ 4:32pm
Tested it again, with my modset and without.

The best place to see it is Novgorod, since only a bit after game start the palace title just vanishes. Not sure why. I also tested Venice and tried doing a war, and as soon as I won the war and got new land the palace title again disappeared. I'm not sure if this is possible right now (since I don't mod) but I would imagine remerging the titles might fix it?
Iwen 30 Jun @ 3:48pm
It was; I had started as Haesteinn and gone from there to form the plutocracy. Noticed it on some of the other nobles in my realm. I'll try to run another game to see if it persists.
Emil  [pembuat] 29 Jun @ 9:37am
Is this on a fresh save?
Iwen 29 Jun @ 9:09am
Everything seems to be fine, although domiciles disappearing does occur.
I'm doing a Isle of Man republic, and they keep their merchant family title, but the palace title disappears for some of the patricians (and me) whilst others still have it.
Emil  [pembuat] 28 Jun @ 1:46pm
I uploaded a temporary fix for domiciles.
Let me know if you experience any issues.
Emil  [pembuat] 27 Jun @ 6:59am
Not yet.
VONCHADSABURG 24 Jun @ 9:18pm
yo did you ever get any work from paradox regarding the issue
