cant wait for sparta

Whenever I disable the mod in the mod manager and try and launch the game just CTD's but when I enable it back it launches fine

love this mod please do Sparta one day so I can see them shine next to Athens

@Stiltner i do plan on it, theyll be my next greek faction but sadly i'm just so busy with overhauls and stuff i'm not sure when im gonna start

You're right I just read about this. My bad, just looked real fishy to me since the issue occured directly after I downloaded thex mod.

@ridboii not my mod issue, this is a problem alot of people are getting atm, there's an issue with the greek states DLC

After subscribing to this mod Athens does not appear in my game - modded or not. When I get to the main menu, it tells me "Thank you. Please restart Total War: Rome II to download and play this DLC pack.".

Wondering if anyone is having/had the same issue: I have the mod put above all 3 parts of DEI in load order, but when I load the game there is no athenian faction at all in grand campaign or custom battles.

Some model have glitched texture issue (Invisible part beetween arms and armor.
Tested with only this mod and DEI loaded --> I noticed it for these 2 specific unit (Guess there is one or two model glitched in a unit.
--> Mistophoroi Thureophoroi
--> Mistophoroi Epilektoi

I don't understand but some of the generals lost their crests on thop of their helmets (while still having them in the battle). And I've seen a general without a body generated just randomly while others are okay. I'don't know what is the cause of the issue but I just wanted to report here.

Its like the DEI units are taking priority over these ones

for some reason this stopped loading when i only use this and Dei in proper order

I like this mod though I am curious why it is changing the unit cards for other factions, in particular Macedon & Epeiros?

Sadly it does not work well with the Chad Macedonians Overhaul

Hello, really love the mod!
Me and a friend have a little problem with some units models partly dissapear at big distance
(I can see only spears, legs and arms with camera far away from a unit).
Some problem with LOD maybe.
Cav misses all horses and armor. Some units miss armor as well.
Changing graphic settings doesnt fix the stealth greek technologies :)

@mirkoni thanks alot mate, unfortunately this is just a result of my inexperience with optimisation, I MIGHT be able to go back through the roster and redo some stuff, basically the main issue is i done literally everything in 2k when i didnt need to, and also i applied all those assets in a way they still load when zoomed out, when you only really need for example armours and skins, i do hope to do this at some point im sure itll help

However eaven tho i run high end pc and play game with couple of different mods on extreme settings, i still ecounter high stuttering with this mod to the point where its unplayable ( land battles) especially when i zoom out. I am waiting to enjoy your upcomig mods so i want to make it playable now and in the futture. Plese hepl is there is solution! Thanks

Are unit models historically accurate?

dont think its because of the data folder, i deinstalled the game 2 times, and deleted all files, including those in the appdata creative assembly folder.

The dei discord. you might have a mod conflict with mods in your data folder or something possibly

@flavius no i made that change, i felt more people preferred just athens than delian league, i recommend joining our DEI discord and explaining your problem in technical

Well that is interesting indeed, now that you mention it, since the update the name of athens changed aswell for me, from the delian league to athens, well hopefully the problem fixes itself soon through a new windows update perhaps

@flavius might not be mod related at all actually, are you using windows 11? theres been several issues in our discord of loading crashes etc, one of the reasons was a windows 11 update

great mod, unfortunately it freezes often, either when attacking a settlement or a land battle. it starts to load and then freezes, any idea why?
no mods except DEI and yours

Hey, does some Greek/Athenian units like levy or light troops have the one shoulder chiton? It could be epic, especially that the Ancient Greeks valued human beauty, both in the Olympics and Warfare
(Im playing with another combination of mods so I cannot see it)

@potato launch the game through razor cortex, optimise your nividia control panel settings, and adjust rome 2 settings like lowering water detail as all maps have an ocean under them that it has to generate and causes lag

Wow, this is some incredible work! well done. I do however play on a bit of a potato. Any tips to make this run better? and/or could you do a lite version? where its like 1080p textures or something? really amazing work!

Hello IrishBandito, really love your works. Very good job. If I may, can I ask if there is any plan for reskin overhaul for Sparta in DEI? Or a simple reskin for the armor and helmet cause the other reskin for Sparta in DEI are way too low graphic and texture. Hope to get your reply:)

@gropotias, sadly I know, i actually tried making a macedonian wars version but i had trouble getting all the starting generals to change appearance, however majority of the units in this mod does carry over to the macedonian wars athens roster

@z_viny i probably could, i just need the vmd roster list of the vanilla roster

@gropotias, i originally tried/planned on doing a WOS version too, but i had difficulty getting all of the generals to work, even when editing startpos some of the starting generals remained vanilla couldn't figure it out

but this mod more or less does work in WOS, atleast with dei, there's just a few things like a couple units have their vanilla look like merc hoplites and maybe some generals

Also would u make some reskins like this on the dlc wrath of sparta in the fiture? i'd be glad to try it
