With others HUD I didn't have problems with copy-pasting messages like any kind, I first thought it was a resolution problem (I use 16:10 1440x900) but no changes at all. It's not a big issue cause like a I said, only happens when I try to copy anything from the chat, so I tend not to do so.

The only solution that worked was to close the game forcedly by task manager/steam or joining to another lobby if I have any friend playing so I can exit to the menu/same lobby.

That is a very niche case for me since I haven’t tried copy-pasting a link or anything in a game like L4D2 or Apex Legends yet (same engine).

Does it happen with the default HUD? May also be due to localization/keyboard language settings. I cross-checked the part of the code that should correspond to the chat area… it’s not different from vanilla but I haven’t tried copy pasting.

very nice hud, I don't know if you know this but for some reason when I tried to copy a message the chats bugs and can't click anything anymore but overall works perfectly fine :)
