@saimrafi22 the b41 version only works on dedicated servers. if you want to play on a SP save you'll have to use b42

Does it work on solo playthroughs? I downloaded the mod but errors in red keep showing up in the bottom right corner of my B41 game. Cant even spawn npcs??

Hey! I just wanted to say your mod is incredible. It made my B41 save feel alive like never before — the social system, the survivors, everything.

I saw v0.2.33 is focused on B42, but a lot of us are still on B41 due to stability or mod support. If possible, could you release a B41 version of 0.2.33 (even a light one)?

We’d really appreciate it — the current B41 build is already amazing, and those newer AI and memory fixes would be a huge upgrade. Thanks again for all your hard work, you’ve created something truly special.

This mod looks super interesting. I have tried setting up a dedicated server before with no success. Can someone point me in the right direction on where to find reliable instructions? I want to try this mod.

Is there a way to bypass the need for safehouses? When I try to add a NPC to my safehouse, I'm not able to and they won't do anything without a safe house :/

So, I've installed the mod as instructed on my dedicated server (B41) file directory ("knox"+"zombie" -> "java") upon having downloaded the mod to the server and activated it in-game. Entering the game, I get all the configs and admin options as well as the HUD-elements that come with the mod, but no NPCs show up at all - neither when I'm running around, activating "Show NPCs" on map or hit "Spawn NPC". Anyone else experiencing this and knows what the issue could be?
A week ago I tested the mod on a SP save and plenty of NPCs showed up. However, I'd forgotten to deactivate Superb Survivorsso both mods were running at the same time. The options for interacting with the NPCs were different from the SupSurv-options though, so I assumed that the NPCs actually came from the KEE and not SS concluding the installation of KEE had been successfull. Could it be that the NPCs I met in my SP testrun actually were from SS and only the interactions were replaced by KEE?

Subject: Issue with Chinese Translation Not Fully Loading in Game

Dear Author,

I am a Chinese player with limited English proficiency (using translation tools). I tried to add Chinese localization by:

Creating a new CN folder inside the Translate directory.

Translating all files from the EN folder into Chinese and saving them with _CN suffixes (e.g., IG_UI_EN.txt → IG_UI_CN.txt).

However, in-game:

NPCs still speak English.

The UI (e.g., bottom-right HUD) remains untranslated, even though the player’s language is set to Chinese.

Could you please advise what might be causing this? Possible issues I’ve checked:

File names/paths match the original structure.

Encoding is UTF-8 (no garbled text).

I understand it says this has been discontinued for b41 SP, but does that mean it won't work at all or is it just not receiving updates? Also, can you teleport the NPCs or get them inside RV interiors some other way (willing to use debug/cheats)? I have been trying to find an NPC mod that will let me put them in my RV for roleplay/immersion purposes and have had no luck so far

i think this mod might be broken, i found no people, this mod has taken my FPS down to almost nothing when i played with it. any answers are appreciated!

Question, having a issue with two things. First whenever the npc kills something it leaves a naked corpse behind. I saw a few people mention it both here and on discord but havent found a solution. Other issue is they dont loot anything. Can anyone help with this? It is on a dedicated server and otherwise have no issues with the npcs.

The B41 SP version of this mod has been discontinued. Please note that this also applies to MP hosted via the in-game menu. This is a decision I have taken due to the scope becoming to big with B42.

Hi, I kind of need an installation guide for the servers via "Host". If thats possible, at all. I tried installing the single player way but it messed up my server and caused errors that stopped my server from starting. Don't really know what to do.

B41 multiplayer is working. You just need to host it on a dedicated server and listen intently to the tutorials. I am currently playing on a server with 2 of my friends, it does work.

Also is there a way you can implement the ability to have more than 8 survivors in your individual group, if you go beyond that number you can no longer control the extra ones beyond that they are just stuck following you. Was just going to ask if there was a way you could implement a way to extend the UI a bit so it doesn't get too buggy with the more NPCs you acquire because I am trying to rebuild civilisation with an NPC cap of 8. Another issue I have had is if you log off in the same house as a real person and your group identifies the place as your Safe house, your group begins to treat them as hostiles despite them being in my faction before logging off the server. Worked my way around the issue by living in two separate houses but it's still pretty annoying since our two groups started gunning each other down in our house.

The script assumes MetaEventManager.lua has a table, but it's nil.
Check line 5 of MetaEventManager.lua, where the error occurs.

Provide a pass through. No more error.
