I love Spanish history during this time. Does anyone know if this mod is being made for bannerlord? The graphics in that game would make this mod a gem to anyone wanting to experience Medieval Leon and Castile :D

Update, figured out the cause: A follower was spreading word for a right to rule, once she was back the stuttering was gone.

Soon after starting a campaign (ingame day 25) now there's frequent stuttering when moving on the world map, about once every second. A new game doesn't have that stutter. No mods other than Hispania installed. I tried a lot of common suggestions like limiting fps, forcing single core, reducing graphics settings etc. Did a new clean game install. Any help?

Found an odd bug. In toledo town hall, the game "freezes," but only if you look at the back wall. I've never seen a bug like that, and I play several warband mods.

Other than that, freelancer can be a bit buggy, but the mod overall is fine, no serious issues here.

Majestic mod. Everything is on spot. I like it so much. It has imporved combat, very big map of Spain. It feels very polished.

I love learning little bits of History through games.

When I first heard of the Reconquista, I was like "Meh" because I was more interested in Jerusalem at the time.

In hindsight, It feels weird that people try to apply the events that were the Crusades and retaliatory jihads through a modern lens, and then the Reconquista is just "Ah! The Iberians were just reclaiming their homeland! Nothing to see here!"

The schizophrenic irony and people's unwillingness to look at it from a neutral, fair, and non-atheist lens is not lost on me.

oh buu huu, pointing basic facts, someone who grabs other ppls work, makes a few patches ( doesnt even list them) is obviously not remastering anything. If most this is a "sub mod" or "addon" and there are a few already created for hispania years ago like the reconquista version. but anyway... this is the steam workshop lives up to its repputation complete random mess of mod uploads and no curation

so its a "remaster" that doesnt remaster anything. gotcha. Even the map is a addon on the offical modb page of hispania1200 this has been around for a while, hey at least you credit the authors

Extremely bare bones. Map is interesting but nothing else of note. Very lacking in features.

Does this mod have custom troop trees?

Mod is very good. But Having only one military unit type in the game reduces the level of the mode considerably.

I used to play this mod long time ago ,. wasnt the best but really good , But this mod had the best battlefields scenes i ever seen in Warband . After 6603 hours in game i think ive seen much enough :)

Miguel, who started as a commoner Horseman, has now reached 800 days. This has become the most enjoyable mod I’ve played so far. I’ve found myself wishing there were more mods where you could play in just one specific region like this. It has become my favorite mod.

Apparently no more work is being done on this. It was interesting but it's pretty rough, too early to abandon. The dense forest level they use pretty much everywhere is almost unplayable. And the map is pretty but too dense and square and evenly spaced, could have been less busy and more spread to the north and south. The overall balance is not great, the gear not that great either. I liked some of the features, like the easy access to troop trees. And I had no freezes, no stutters, no crashes, pretty solid experience. Just not great gameplay, sadly.

Most of the freezes are fixed by reinstalling. And around day 300 I got really freezes on the map, but after day 500 it was fine again. And since playing this mod I started learning Spanish.

Hey bro, love this mod. I am experience these stutters without WSE2 cause I dont know what that even is. Please if you can: Make Kings have at least 300 men with them, the fastest way for us to complete the map is for us to conquer the castles ourselves, and please do your best to fix the lagginess. I really love this mod, I remember playing as Leon and my brother as Castile back in ck3 a couple years ago. This made me feel the same memories as my brother is no longer with us.
