The Malignance Artifact activates on every card play, and regardless of the card's previous cost, changes it to 2. So a card that previously cost 1 to play will cost 2 the next time you draw it.
Also, cards that apply Power effects should be marked as Power cards (not attack cards) and should not all be Innate (though this may be your personal preference). As it is, this character is very, very strong. I wouldn't mind a toned down version balanced for the base game.
I intentionally set these two cards as Attack because I think these cards cause damage in the battle. After much deliberation, I haven't modified them.
I don't quite understand your feedback about Sanguine Pool's code issues. Could you please explain them in detail? Thanks.@spook
Sanguine Pool has NL in its card text and triggers above 50% health from any targeted card, not just attacks
Electrocute is also labeled as an attack
Tides of Blood says pick 2 instead of draw 2 and has you target an enemy for no reason
