@hobobot move this above other mods. If another mod messes with economy stuff it will delete the changes this mod makes. (in torch, the list may be reverse, try bottom if top doesnt work)

hmmm we added this to our torch server and have been messing with the mod load order but no luck. Still only vanilla ships in stations. any suggestions? We waited a few days worth of economy refreshes

aaaah ok, my mistake

so....any stations that spawn are...Vanilla?

Apologies - I started a new world after Apex hard borked my save. MES is working but this is the first station that has spawned (as in the first I've seen in years) and its selling ships, so I assumed it was this mod. It sells a bunch of ships from the workshop (hooray this mod!) some tools and the odd food (Apex survival is enabled).

I guess I should be asking on MES. Sorry.

This mod doesnt change station functionality, it only adds more grids for sale to the pre-existing stations that sell grids.

So a station that sells ships has been added near me -(SSMK faction) which is cool - buts its not 'despawning'
Dont get me wrong, awesome to see ships in the store but if another one shows up i'm not going to get anymore MES stuff I think?

Are the stations supposed to be 'permenant' or are they meant to be like trade ships that move on like usual MES stuff

@ArchyZavr - should be updated now. I'll do some testing, but remember if you have this mod added to an existing game, it will take several cycles for the economy to cycle the old sales out before adding the new ships in.

One of the coolest mods for NPCs that I've seen in the game really prolongs interest in the game for hundreds of hours.

Dissregard, i (somehow) fixed it

I don't really know what i did other than install Fast Cargo Ship Spawn Rate onto my game and somehow it magicly fixed the no picture problem

I love the mod but the ships listed in the nearest store to me doesnt render pictures of the ships, so i don't really know what i'm buying.

Mind you, i added this mod mid-game, and i have modular encounters and EEM enabled

@halcyforn, check out Trade Operators Coalition. They have something that is pretty close to what you're asking for. Instead of buying a completed grid they just assemble a grid for a price, so you'll need a projector built that then projects what you want constructed. It mostly works out to be the same as purchasing grids directly.

@Halcyforn, such an ask would require the heavy lift of getting permission from a lot of mod owners to use their intellectual property. Development aside, that human-human requirement is LESS likely than if one wanted to pull all the mod owners' teeth with nothing more than a hammer and chisel. The only way this would/could/should (sic) be accomplished is to do it yourself as a local mod and never publish it.

Well, "Negotiations" was just flavour text and about as real as "Stan" is - I got burned out on this game - which means I havent been able to update with more, but I am sure I will when I pick up the game again.

Hi Stubkan,

I have been using this mod in a survival world for a while, and only noticed now that your descriptions says, "Negotiations are underway with ISL". I guess I must have missed the message, but I'd be happy to have some of my ships included in your mod, although you might have to remove some of the red "temp" blocks which are only on the blueprints to make printing easier.

If you have some particular ships in mind, maybe I can update them first with event controllers, etc. since a lot of them are now old designs.

Tested again. It does work. A few things to bear in mind.

1. Only Builder type factions that already sell ships will sell ships.
2. It has to not be overriden by any other economy mod that affects Builder factions.
3. Generally, being at the top of the list helps - Linux users or Torch servers sometimes have it the other way around - at the bottom of the list.

@Catanchovy All prices are decided by SE, not me. SE calculates the price of everything in the store by adding up the components total cost.

While I am able to see a few ships for sale in NPC stations, I only see what appears to be default Keen ships, and none of the ones listed from the "added manufacturers" that you have displayed in the mod description.

Sorry I took so long to get around to this. The bug with Builder factions not being created with new worlds after the last Keen update should be fixed now.

It seems that no builder type factions spawn in the world creation stage while this mod is enabled. But I found a workaround - you need to enable this mod after a world creation.

This mod doesnt really use anything that isn't vanilla for the store behaviour, Also, all the ships are vanilla compatible. Updates shouldn't have broken anything. I will look into it though.

Given how much Contact changed, several mods that effect things like ship spawns may need to be updated.
If uninstalling/reinstalling (the classic fix) doesn't work, we may just have to wait around for an update. SE has a long and proud history of even minor updates breaking... everything.
