I don’t know, sorry. I have not played Social Lives or looked into how the FCS file is arranged.
My main changes to the Western Hive in this addon is the conditions for their shop dialogue, and new lines for when you have defeated the Queen of the South. If Social Lives doesn’t affect this, it will probably be okay.

Oooh, that's ok, I hope that in a future we can see a continent filled to the brim with them pink bugmen. Yep, I knew about the SH growth in pressence over the continent when the Western Queen gets killed, but we barely held against Valamon, so the evil queen will have to wait. Thanks for the response!

I haven't added any new town overrides, so the Southern Hive will only expand as far as they do in vanilla. That being said, if you eliminate the western queen you'll see southern invasion patrols in many new places.

Hi! I love the addons you made for Hivers Expanded, I'm currently playing an Southern Hive only run, made a warband/merc group affiliated with the Southern Hive. The plan is to take over the entire continet. I know that normally SH take over Reaver Camps and other places belonging to the southeastern bandits, but will they keep expanding towards the rest of the continent if I go around destroying everything? Like UC, HN, SK, the western hive, etc. Or do the takeovers end on the south?

I had wanted to do this, but I realized the southern hive would attack most of your other allies (or any other locals) on sight, which is really unfortunate. Instead I made sure you can ask them to bodyguard you, so the player is in control of whether they help or not.

I also wanted to make the western hive support the player more, but they have a bad habit of healing everyone who is unconscious, even your enemies. I tested both in the past, and it was... inconvenient.

It would be nice if the southern hive, when on good terms, would send reinforcements to the player's base, like other factions do.

Found the real issue I was having. It was a conflict with the Living World mod. It altered The southern hive world states and triggers, disabling the mod fixed the issue.

If you use the FCS, the easiest option would be to delete the dialogue from that mod. However, you can also preserve it if you remove the queen from the southern hive race group, then they shouldn't overlap anymore.

Oh now I see yes, it does come from that mod. Damn. I'll have to figure out how to remove that Queen dialogue from that mod or just remove it entirely. I like seeing a Pink southern Queen so i dl'd that mod. Hmmm.

I noticed after having this mod there is some group of 3 humans ronins in around hub patrolling but they look.super strong like nearly max out stats

I've had this same issue myself, but the queen dialogue actually came from this mod due to how the game checks for race groups:

Is it possible you have a mod pack that includes this without your knowledge?

As for the other question, in my dialogue fix I linked on this page (which I assume you're seeing dialogue from) I mostly decided on a whim to allow trade for southern hive players. A part of me felt it would be funny for the traders to think they've finally made their aggressive cousins agree to a bargain.

I started using this mod as you recommended in the fugitive southern hivers (the two mods can still work together) pretty nice. I visited the western hive as a southern hiver group and they're pretty passive aggressive when trading with me which is pretty cool that there could be a dislike between the two. Question is that they don't mind me being a hiveless southerner and the second one which is odd, they start calling me Queenie or Queen for some reason, I don't have any mods adding a hive queen so it's weird.

Yes, that is likely it. Characters can count as "imprisoned" if you are currently carrying them during kidnapping, though it's unfortunate the timing made them launch a raid.
Making the retaliation raid leave without triggering the next one can be tricky. You'd have to find a way to make them go home without actually defeating them. Otherwise, though, you should also be fine if you import your save to keep your relations.

No, I don't have any mods that effect the factions. My guess is that the first time I tried to swing by the Southern hive after taking out Elder to try and get the faction rep, they attacked me. I ran, they chased me quite a way finally I just fought them, then picked up the queen and brought her back to the hive so she wouldn't get eaten by beak things. I guess that must have counted as kidnapping. So it was my fault. No big deal. Thanks for the clarification though.

Hmm, that's odd. Do you have a mod that adds new assaults to them? I've set the territorial raids from Hives Expanded to only trigger if you're an enemy of the faction, but other modded raids *or* retaliations for kidnapping the queen can still trigger.

Awesome mod idea! I just started learning FCS last weekend with the goal of making a Hive lore focused quest for Universal Wasteland Expansion. Very glad to see someone else working on the Hives!:beeped:

I am a bit hesitant to make the gorillo sellers because the animal stats would climb above 60-80 by just waiting for them to age. It was a good idea though, the mechanics behind their stats are just a bit rigid unless I make a new gorillo variant.

I've actually never gotten to see the war gorillos in-game myself since Hives Expanded seems to remove most of their spawns. I'll think about it.

Hey there, it's good to see someone giving more love to the Hivers and focusing on the Southern Hive too! Would you consider letting the Southern Hivers offer players trained War Gorrilos for cats or allies?
