I used to have big problem with hands, now its just problem with hands so i prefer to play with less amount of provinces i own and i have to build up, but if you dont have a real reason behind expansion of slots just to cheat your income etc there are better ways to do that than adding extra slots as this is really unbalanced and can be detremental if you dont really handle it well in campaign.

Yeah i know, but i cannot help you choose. You just need to try mods and check which one works for you. Maximum number of slots i know is possible, works and compatbile with MIXER is 20/6, maximum number of slots compatible with MIXER + IEE / TOW is 20/8. Got to read descriptions, check last update date and see in comments if people report error, then sub and find out if its compatible with your modlist. Im not into troubleshooting peoples collections or setups, but im sure there someone ot there that might help you. try looking into mod collections on steam and follow this guide to be safe with mods: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3159006885

I'd just like to be able to build as many buildings as possible, but I don't know which mods would work together. Not that there would be any problems, you know what I mean?

There are multiple versions of extra buildings slots mods for all to choose from and customize your own gameplay. Literally nobody knows better than you what you want and there is no other way for you to just try out different setups. I use to go with 18 major when i couldnt move my arms due to disability and accident last year. Now im a bit better and i use my Expanded Building Overhaul with 12/15 major 6 minor with addition of another mod 12 slots for fort bastion & gate, but i am using a set of mods that add buildings to all regions and also to all forts. If you play wide - the more slots you have the worst as its a lot of clicking and will get tedious. if you play tall and have just couple province - use more slots as they will be useful in this case.

I made a mistake with this mod and added 1 too many slots than intended. This mod has been now backed-up on my discord in #mod_backups if anyone would like to grab the old version, but i will be updating this mod in next couple of minutes and reduce the slots.

- all lore (special) settlements that can get extra slots in this mod already have them, so no chance for Nuln or any other races for Lahmia. Nuln doesnt have special building key and Lahmia is faction locked

@Laurin That's right exactly as you said - in order for a building to get more slots via this mod - it requires a special unique building chaind created by CA in main game. Without it - all cities will be treated as a generic faction settlement. And this also applies to certain situations like with K8P where only certain races will benefit from occutying it, as in lore only those have some value to them. Unfotunately creating new unique settlement chains will cause many problems with incompatibilities, but this is not intention of this mod. As i might re-word the name of mod - it is for Lore settlements which are those special ones you can find on the map :) Hopefully this makes it clear and thank you for the VC bug

@EnumaEllis I am not sure is it possible for Nuln as this mod requires the cite to have specific building chain designed and made only by CA in base game, without it - each settlement will be treated as just generic faction settlement.

So the way the main settlement building works is that some races have access to special ones at specific places. Tomb Kings for example at Khemri and Lahmia. This mod expands those to give them 12 slots. This works completely fine.

HOWEVER: Only the Tomb Kings have access to this special Lahmia settlement building. So if I occupy Lahmia as Vampire Counts, I now have the generic Vampire Counts settlement building chain and thus only get the regular 7 slots.

This actually applies to a bunch of these, K8P for example will not be expanded if you're not Dwarf, Skaven or Greenskin. Similarly, Castle Drakenhof only has 12 slots for VC, Empire and Bretonnia.

On that note actually, you forgot to expand the special one for Altdorf for the Vampire Counts, so instead of 12 slots they only get the vanilla 9.

What a mod would need to do to expand this to all races would be to make the special main settlement building chains available to all races instead of the restricted few for them.

When you can mod again, can you add Nuln to the list of 10 slots since it's quite an extensive settlement in the lore? Also the Moot if you feel generous.

Great mod really like only a few capitals have more slots. Is Lahmia still expanded? It is only showing 8 slots the others seem fine.

steam sometimes is playing and doesnt resubscribe to mods correctly, maybe try to delete the mod in manager / on the disc and then hard resub to the mod on the steam page here. i didnt change anything in the mod apart form thumbnail, that doesnt matter for saved game, please try again and maybe this will help

This is a great compromise mod. The BSE mod was fantastic...but didn't make settlements feel special.

haha that's one of the coolest bugs I have seen, the game asks you for a tier that does not exist. It is probably just an extra increment somewhere

I have T5 cities and It asks T6. I have T4 cities and asks T5. I don't have any mod that increase city tier to level 6.

@ProJH the highest level that a major (main) settlement can reach is Tier 5. Minor settlements typically cap at Tier 3, but major ones—including faction capitals—can be upgraded all the way to Tier 5, so I have no idea where you got "This slot will will unlock when you upgrade your main settlement chain to level 6" because its 100% a mod and its not this one

Building slots are expanded on UI but they are locked. It always ask higher main settlement level. "This slot will will unlock when you upgrade your main settlement chain to level 6". I use mixer and MCT.

Hi @ChopChop, I love the idea of this mod! Would you consider making a mod that gives every major settlement an additional 2 build slots? The ones I have found on the workshop give way too many additional build slots, and it would be nice to see a toned down version.
