All that's missing is the connecting rod and a second person.
That would be my dream;
then the game would have achieved everything for me. But the 80-ton locomotive isn't so easy even with all the aids turned off.
and thx for your mod.
a good mod that saves a lot of driving. SCS should implement it.
If I were you, I'd ask SiSL if they could help you with the shifted or missing loads.
They've always done that so far.
It enriches the game immensely and makes working with the low loader or reefer much more interesting. Thanks again.
Glad you got it working again.
Having extra trucks for a special transport haul like that can be done, in a way.
Since SCS added the electric trailers in the game, there is support for powered axles on trailers. Setting the extra trucks up as trailers, with their own engine (diesel is supported), and powered axles can be done.
It won't be exactly like real life, and it would be a pretty big task. This is beyong my skill level though.
i have lokated my mistake it was the Liftaxle mod for scs trailer.
my mistake now its perfekt
thx for your work.
i have a question is it possible that someone make a mod for roadtrains with pull and push trucks or is the game for that not ready?
https://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2010/01/giant-loads-vintage-road-trains-and-push-pull-trucks/
like this 4 trucks 1 load???
sorry my eng isnt good
@jacoporossi0912: In multiplayer, or if you remove the mod after loading the cargo, your cargo will remain visible. But the fixes to excavator loading direction will of course not take place anymore. Flatbed cargo on lowbed etc will work.
use your mod sinse 1.56. 1 month ago but now on 1.57 are no lines for the parking area.
wrong place in the mod manager, i dont know.
great mod top ten mod for me
nice work
greetings from berlin
The mod is already updated.
Thanks for the information
1.56 (and older) compatbility remains as well, for anyone who's not on the beta, or sticks with older versions for mod compatbility.
The mod should in theory work on 1.54 to 1.57 (and future).
I haven't made a proper changelog or update post, but I can mention full 1.57 compatbility, some more cargo fixes to lowboy/lowloader (including hauling excavators on the non-extended trailers), fixing some cargoes to appear on the top deck of the lowbed and other changes and fixes I have forgotten.
If anyone runs into any issues, let me know and I'll try to get it sorted as soon as possible.
Enjoy!
@wictorych62 I am unable to reproduce this. All the cargoes in my game have standard weights, so I am unsure what has happened in your game there.
@BlackWolf83m: Working on an update, will be out soon!
Another thing is ADR in curtainsiders. Little strange to carry ammunition and explosives in a trailer that can be opened with a knife. :)
For info - I am not a trucker / logistician so consider that when reading what I write.
The cargoes you listed in your comment are not flatbed cargoes, but instead shipping container cargoes. They are therefore not suitable for box trailers. I have already made all flatbed cargoes available for curtainsider trailers, except a couple of cargoes that may not fit.
Metal coils *can* be hauled in dryvan trailers, assuming the trailer has sufficient ways to secure it, but of course they are best transported in specialised trailers.
I think all palletized cargo could be carried by reefer - even Wooden Beams and Straw Bales as they are pallet secure and plastic wrapped.
What I found in Logistics Map is 3 palletized cargo for flatbeds, that may be suitable for transporting with curtaisider: Break Fluid, Carbon Black Powder, Exhaust Systems.
If you're on the beta, you can still safely use this mod without issue, but some functionality of the mod will not be present.
For the most part, I have already added all the cargoes that fit on the sideboard trailers.
Some flatbed cargoes have been excluded from the sideboard trailer simply because they are too wide, this also includes all cargoes from the Krone Agriculture DLC. None of them fit.
DLC cargoes are supported.
Anything specific that you're missing?
There's also an alternative download available for those who prefer not using the Workshop, linked on the forum.
Please let me know if you run into any issues!
Leave me a like and favourite if you enjoy the mod, it helps out making the mod more visible to other users!
Thanks! Glad you like it!
It will work with any trailers that use vanilla body_types, like flatbed, flatbed_brck, curtainside, dryvan, insulated, refrigerated etc.
I don't know how that specific mod works, but as long as the trailers use these body types, it will be supported. Even if not supported, the two mods should not cause any issues being active at the same time.
@★★ L_O_R_E_N_Z ★★: If you take a job in singleplayer with the mod active, and then head to TMP, your job should stay active and work, and cargo should also remain visible for other players. Obviously TMP doesn't allow you to activate the mod when playing in multiplayer though.
@Harald: I've disabled straw bale cargo for the insulated and reefer bodies now, but keeping it on the dryvan compatibility with external jobs and Convoy, since that is default behaviour.
Will be in with the next update, not going to push out an update just yet.
It would be great if you could fix that.
Mr. German Truck also questioned it in his video.
I think SCS hasn't cleaned up the cargo issue yet.
I'll be honest... I'm not actually sure. I forgot to check if this impacted traffic trailers. Never really thought about it.
I don't think it does, but it does affect both ownable trailers and freight market trailers.
Changes made to the lowbed cargo placement (like turning around excavators etc.) will only take effect on the SCS and DLC trailers though (and mod trailers that share the same bodies as these).
This mod does not affect containers or container trailers in any way.
---
@Harald: straw bales are actually compatible with dryvan, curtainsider and flatbed by default without my mod, but I do agree it's a bit strange being in a box trailer.
---
@İlkem Öztür: Like most mods, load order won't matter in most cases.
If you have any other mods changing cargoes, you may want to consider which mod gets priority. But unless you end up running into issues, just put it whereever, it is unlikely to matter.
---
Happy to hear people are enjoying the mod!
Thanks for your feedback!
I had to limit cargoes on the low loaders a bit, as most cargoes refuse to spawn on the top deck, and limited strap hook positions lead to weird stretching and buggy straps on those trailers.
Because of this, I decided against adding more cargoes on them.
After 1.54, straps are automatically generated by the game, and are fully dynamic. This makes the cargo system very flexible, but also results in some really strange and buggy straps at times.
I can certainly try and see if bales could fit, and consider adding it in a future update though.
There will most likely be an update to this mod shortly after the Krone Agriculture Equipment DLC.
I hope straw bales get added to low loaders as they can be a common sight. I used to haul straw bales on a low loaders from time to time myself IRL at one point that's all.
