Docking Port for the ship?

Nah, Docking Port Ship
LadyLime  [yaratıcı] 27 Ağu 2024 @ 23:04
Glad to hear! :)
admeraltopaz 27 Ağu 2024 @ 23:01
this is is useful, my battleship now has a specialized hanger for one Great job
LadyLime  [yaratıcı] 26 Ağu 2024 @ 17:20
Thank you :)
Gunslinger 26 Ağu 2024 @ 14:45
Thanks, Ive subbed to your entire fleet so far. Keep up the good work.

What ship is that of yours you have all the other ships on. That ship looks like either a mobile 'used ship dealer' or a mobile repair shop, either way it looks really cool.
nlee6618 12 Ağu 2024 @ 13:04
yep
LadyLime  [yaratıcı] 12 Ağu 2024 @ 12:54
yeah same here, it's a sorely needed tool.
nlee6618 12 Ağu 2024 @ 12:52
wait I needed this my hole time playing
LadyLime  [yaratıcı] 31 Tem 2024 @ 9:37
Yeah I was surprised to see that no one had really done it before.
Cpt Pillowy Giant 31 Tem 2024 @ 9:35
Damn, why the duck didn't anyone think about this kind of ship before?! Amazing little thing!!
Rocketman 30 Tem 2024 @ 9:16
i wish it did not have DLC so i can use it
LadyLime  [yaratıcı] 26 Tem 2024 @ 23:03
Nice :) yeah I debated adding custom catwalks but wanted to keep PCU as low as I realistically could.
MrFox 26 Tem 2024 @ 22:41
We got this, but then changed out the connectors to the forcefeld version and added catwalks now we can walk through them :)
Mask of Humble 26 Tem 2024 @ 6:41
This is pretty cool, I might actually start incorporating large ship to ship transfer of personnel and cargo in this way, as it stands I have a automatic shuttle ship that goes from one ship to the other.
McTec Ind. 26 Tem 2024 @ 2:16
Huh. That is one clever idea. Love these logistic and support roles for fleets, that aren't just ships with more guns. Have an upvote.^^
LadyLime  [yaratıcı] 25 Tem 2024 @ 17:38
Thank you so much :)
WileyCoyote 25 Tem 2024 @ 16:59
Also, this is the first blueprint not made by a friend that I've ever subbed. That's a compliment.
WileyCoyote 25 Tem 2024 @ 16:58
I agree with the comment saying never even seen in sci-fi media. I've not either, and it makes a lot of sense. Rather than have a dedicated collapsible (and therefore fragile docking arm), have a small vessel dedicated to connecting is actually quite unique.

Recently I noticed that the USS Defiant docks with DS9 bow-first, but there is NO sign of a docking port on the Defiant from front views.
Arlain Hourn 25 Tem 2024 @ 14:12
This makes SO much sense!
LadyLime  [yaratıcı] 25 Tem 2024 @ 10:49
Yeah, this is just a docking arm in a shuttle so it's a lot easier to use and more versatile, just a simple thing I threw together after years of wanting to do it but never caring to.
Rizzo 25 Tem 2024 @ 10:45
Not sure what the drama is about, docking arms have been around in one shape or another since the connector came into being. This is just one implementation for small grid to do it. Nice job!
LadyLime  [yaratıcı] 25 Tem 2024 @ 10:27
I made this a week ago and haven't watched that video. I've only seen a few of Luca's videos.
Altsovy Zouve 25 Tem 2024 @ 10:26
Luca built and showcased her own connector extender a few days ago which was very insufficient in its role to transfer items
LadyLime  [yaratıcı] 25 Tem 2024 @ 10:23
How so?
Altsovy Zouve 25 Tem 2024 @ 10:22
I feel like this was built as a response to Luca the guides' video
LadyLime  [yaratıcı] 25 Tem 2024 @ 9:59
It's a docking extender, for ships that couldn't normally fit together safely via connectors. It's in the description.
Kevin Starwaster 25 Tem 2024 @ 6:03
So is this actually some sort of tug? How is it meant to be used?
Niki 25 Tem 2024 @ 2:31
Поршень? Да не... Бред.
Duster71 25 Tem 2024 @ 2:18
This is really cool. I don't think I've ever even seen this design in sifi movies
well done.
LadyLime  [yaratıcı] 24 Tem 2024 @ 10:07
There wasn't really the space for that on this, but I was planning a larger version and could definitely include that in its design.
ThisIsOli 24 Tem 2024 @ 9:44
Having a drone version of this would be pretty awesome, have a control hub where you can send a drone to extend one of your docking ports as needed would be cool!
Sevyrs 24 Tem 2024 @ 9:37
Yo this is ingenious. Subbed and upped. I really like this idea.
pryde64 22 Tem 2024 @ 1:18
what a great idea well done
LadyLime  [yaratıcı] 21 Tem 2024 @ 12:30
Yeah, I may make more of these for different sizes and styles. A hydrogen one would be fun, but quite sizeable.
-Data- 21 Tem 2024 @ 12:26
ive always wanted a crane truck with this concept for ground docking, but medium conveyor pistons dont exist
FHN 21 Tem 2024 @ 7:22
cool thing, comrade
LadyLime  [yaratıcı] 20 Tem 2024 @ 15:16
Thank you :) yeah it's something that's been needed for years but I never saw anyone actually make it.
maxwindude 20 Tem 2024 @ 15:15
That is a good idea.
