@Rooke - I went back though the level and found a couple other things.

In the first room, if you only walk of the platform instead of jumping you wont get enough momentum and hit the wall

You can also grab the cube while it’s in the funnel. I don’t know if this bit was intentional or if you’re supposed to point the cube where you want before hand, but it is something you can do.

The puzzle can still be completed if you stand on the button again.

I didn’t actually use any cube tossing. I just put the cube on the platform and placed a portal above it then when I stood on the button to raise it I placed another portal on the panel that flipped up sending the cube through. For some reason this caused the cube to glitch out and it just stayed floating there, even when I got off the button and the panel flipped back down it just stayed there in the air blocking the lazer.

No, that was not the intended solution. Cube tossing was not intended. I'll be fixing that this morning.

Well, I solved the test! Though something tells me this wasn’t the intended solution.

i feel like i might have solved that slightly wrong haha. still! an extremely fun level! the amount of detail is excellent! and that first section is wonderful, i love pure portal gun stuff!
