@Vilius, use Advanced Material tool then copy the ID from the texture you copied with the tool and paste it into the material ID of the submaterial tool

make one that allows you to copy a texture off of an npc

Also, this is a bit of a nitpick on my part but would've probably been a good idea to make your mod based off of this more maintained and updated version of Submaterial instead: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2836948539&searchtext=submaterial

Bummer, now it makes sense why i've failed. The reason would probably be cause most SWEP code will attempt to reference the player using them, but wouldn't the solution be inputting the info of the player that owns the turret to said code? Also i know that there's no way to make it 100% work correctly for every swep out there, but that's a bit how NPC's handle SWEPs, some of them don't work flawlessly with NPC's but they can still use simple weapons like M9K or Doom 3 SWEPs or something.

you cannot convert SWEPs into entities for every SWEP out there

again, sorry for bothering ya, good mod as usual. Simple but useful! I just thought i'd share my idea of a turret tool that can simulate the attacks of SWEPs

Hey Kurome, i dunno how lightly you take suggestions, but i've had an idea recently, a "SWEP Turret" STool with wire support that would work like your average turret tool except it would have a drop-down or some other kind of selection menu that would allow you to assign a SWEP (like any, even modded ones) to it, and allow firing the primary and secondary attacks of said swep through the turret via inputs. I don't know if it makes sense, basically lets say you have the SMG1 swep, one input controls the smg firing while the other input controls the grenade launcher firing. I did try my hand at it but i couldn't figure it out, it may be cause i'm still quite a newbie at Lua all i've managed to make modding-wise is gibbing for HL2 vehicles. So i've figured that maybe you'd like this "SWEP Turret" idea as well and maybe figure it out how to do it way better than i would.
