Also, how about adding some obstacles in the desert for cover? I think that'd make a great impact.

The turrets are extremely buggy as this map goes back as far as gmod 9. I'm not sure how to fix/make them work properly.

try to fix the turret controling it does not switch to the turrets view could be i have to many addons

I found this in my files from Gmod 12 from toybox and I put the bsp file for the map into gmod13 and it works fine
