thank you for this ship shes served me very well i retro fit some ugly on her to make her mine and salvage but shes great on fuel has decent storage and her redundancy just allowed me to survive a 3 quarter hulling and keep flying to escape wonderful build:steamthumbsup:

I went with so many custom turrets because gatlings simply wouldn't fit in the areas that offered the best protection. Customs would, however, and are upgradable and you can refit them with whatever weapons you need - so I figured it was a better call since I had already broken the "survival ready" tag by using retractable landing gear.

Makes sense, I think the way you put this, and the civilian version, together, they both work well for scripting out as multi-role platforms, or even using bog standard AI blocks and drones.

So you left the option open for players to configure it in their own use whoever works for them instead of locking them to one ecosystem.

If I might ask, why did you go with so many custom turrets rather than vanilla?

Yeah, I debated wiring it up for automated fighters/drones but opted to keep it simple to keep it simply being a survival logistics carrier.

Came from Luca's review. Nice build! This would be a good platform for a swarm of combat drones running cheerkin's APCK 1.0 and a couple of autominer drones using his SCAM scripts to go grab the ice
