@Thomasims I just made a HUGE realization!

After some experimenting, I found out that it's not my head inside the camera, it's my body. I think the player model is too high, so it's inside the camera, which also makes the head poke out of the top of the car, which looks really funny.

*UPDATE* I also found out the model is just off. The hands aren't even on the wheel, so it looks like I'm driving a ghost car! Anyway, I think the model is just off-set, and the clipping with the camera and body only happens with specific cars. I've only found one with the issue, but I swear I saw it with others before.

*ANOTHER UPDATE* The player's model is only off in SOME cars. It's correct in others, and I have no idea why.

*PROBABLY THE LAST UPDATE, I SWEAR* WHAT?? After EVEN MORE TESTING, I figured out that if the map spawns the car, my model is off-set, but if I spawn the SAME car in the SAME MAP, then the model is correct.

@Thomasims I was using Fumiaki Lagom but now I'm using the modded Mario character from the mod "Realistic Mario" by "Aurelius." I think that their "Realistic Luigi" mod might be broken too, but I'm not sure because I haven't used it yet.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated, and again, amazing mod. Thank you so much for making this mod a reality.

That sounds like your character's head is being rendered while in vehicles even though it shouldn't, what character are you using?
I don't really plan to add anything more to this mod other than fixing the occasional bug, arms aren't technically possible at the moment (for arbitrary player models) but if that changes in the future i'll look into it.

Hi! Amazing mod! I love to just, look down and BOOM! Legs. But, I have one issue.

You see, when I'm in a car and I zoom in all the way to be in first person, for some reason, the camera is just, inside myself? I don't really understand it, but all I'm trying to say is that when in first person in a car, I can't see because something is in the way. It only appears when the car moves, so I think it's my character, but I'm still not sure.

Anyway, great mod, I love it so much, and I would like to see more things added to it, like arms, or something. Might contradict the title, but still! Arms would be so cool!

@NULLMEDIA Well I fixed the issue but now the game isn't letting me post the update. While I figure this out you should be able to work around it by just turning off legacy mode in the options.

bro, a new update has been released, and now the legs and arms are not displayed, could you solve this somehow? This mod is probably one of my favorites.

I could probably fix that at the cost of not having shadows at all on the model. do you have the same issue with legacy mode on/off ?

Not sure if this is something you can fix but when flying around with a flight mod the legs cause a buggy trail of shadows to be left behind on the ground that won't go away

it changes the way the legs are rendered, in most cases you should see no differences but there *might* be some bugs with one mode and not the other.

what does legacy mode do ?

@menno-18 I'm sorry but no I can't, it's simply not feasible to do in a third party mod like this in such a way that it would be compatible with even a minority of modded tools.

I've updated the description because this request comes back fairly frequently and there's simply nothing I can do about it.

OK, I see. I was making a suggestion, but i was half joking.

Making hands generically compatible with every (modded) tool is extremely difficult bordering on impossible and very likely to randomly break.
Limiting it to vanilla tools is not good enough for me.
Those are the reasons I wont do it, it's possible to add hands to a tool model but not from a third party mod such as this, every tool mod author would have to support it explicitly.

that's an issue with the vehicle prefab, look closely in third person you'll see the same thing happening.

idk if its an issue with this mod, but when inside a vehicle the character turns the steering wheel in the opposite direction of where you are steering

i uninstalled the entire mod and it still showed the body ;-;
