There's no 5500XE, there's a 5700XE though, if that's what you meant.

It’s an SCS truck, a Western Star 5500XE. The slot disappeared after the 1.56 update

I don't have that mod so I can't really help you in a simple way.

Could you make certain items work in the hanging items slot, like cb radios, the 8-track player/cassette player etc, please?

idk, maybe the dashboard items and possibly items that fit in cupholders if those mods use the same name for the locators, if they have them, but certainly other items won't as they are truck model specific.

I am unable to make and check for them because I don't have those mods.

does this work for paid mods like pizzter 389, rollin 389, ksw 352, rudas 362?

Maybe in the future, I'll keep it in mind when updating this mod, but atm I have no plans on updating it with new items anytime soon, at the earliest somewhere around June, currently only have updates "planned" if an SCS update makes it incompatible.

I'm sorry, but I didn't accept the friend request, I assume you wanted to help me out which I appreciate a lot, but I prefer to figure things out myself before accepting help, plus #2, Using standard locators from SCS is a lot less work to maintain, a cb radio would then require different positions/angles and adding locators for each truck, that was not my intention when I started this mod.

Thanks, there are 2 reasons for the CB radios being the way they are, one is that I don't know how to make a swinging cable (yet) and #2 is that initially the mod was for dashboard items only, that's just less work making def files (one file to edit vs a file for each item and each truck)

100% enjoyed the mod wish the CB was a option for above the dashboard in the driver area of all trucks but overall Underscore you did a fantastic job with making this mod looking forward for more mods in the future thanks for making this mod

@KilgoreTrout, thanks for the suggestions, may look into some, but tabacco and anything else 18+ are a no go for this mod, and I think Old Spice is already in another mod (Sisl), at least that's the reason why it's not in this mod already :-) .

Can you tell me which trucks, tmk it does work on all trucks, but some trucks don't have the dashboard locators for it and also not the space, I explained this in the description, so on those trucks only seat items work.

Thanks for the suggestion, there's already a flamingo in one of the truck mods, I think the 90's corp. Volvo and White trucks, not 100% sure, but the cactus may go on the list.

I think you did a great job on this I am currently using the neon lights and was wondering if I could suggest a neon cactus and neon flamingo.

@countryman, just in case you read my first reply to you, I removed it after having a look, it does work on the K100, but that truck doesn't have locators on the seat, so it can't use items that go on the seat (currently coolbox and road atlas)

The first thing may get done with an update, but the intention of this mod is old stuff, the new stuff can already be found in other mods.

please make compatibility for other scs stuff, a mod with such potential. Also extra modern day materials like truck screen tablets or teddy bears which are found on most trucks in the US would be nice
