I'm unsure how this would hinder team recognition, as it's the same premise as the smoking jacket but for scout and less harsh on the eyes, not to mention the jacket itself can't be painted, so there shouldn't be any problems.

That is why we made an alternate version closer to his pallete.

i don't think you should detract from the standard team colors, ever
because it'll look very off in game and could still, y'know, detract from team recognition
