Guys all you need to do is go into the mods folder, into the thirdperson/firstperson mods folder and find the animation file. once you searched around delete the file and it works!

The 40k maps allow star wars units to first person but so far no star wars maps.

Mod runs for me now and I can start a skirmish but when I double click L or try to enter first person nothing happens

Sadly the mod doesnt work for me. Crashes when I try to play a skirmish with the Warhammer mod. And when I try to apply the star wars one in the mod menu it just crashes as well.

Being as I could never truly get UMW40k to work properly in Call to Arms, I love this mod so much. It's the closest we ever got to Direct Control in MOWAS2. I've said it before but again, thank you.

this mod was made by a command in editor named "third_person_control",you will fix that if you can use this command in multi palyer mode

Tried to find something about desync in log file and there "SyncTable dump" points to eBullet.cpp(1059) bullets->size() = 0 but I dont know what to do this that

After doing some copying and pasting with the new UMW40k version’s map files, the third/first person seems to work fine. I’ve played a few maps on skirmish and some campaign missions with no issues.

Thanks to the mod author for making this; with it, I can achieve my dream of playing a Battlefield Warhammer 40,000 or Warhammer 40,000: Battlefront.

The vehicles didn't seem to work on normal maps but I only tested with a couple of them. But the infantry seem to work just fine.

It only seems to not work on the new maps that have been added.

Once used in a multiplayer game, it will lose synchronization and cause you to be kicked out of the game

1. Enter the editor, create a new map (such as test), create a new task in the map (such as test1.mi) and save it.
2. The map and task you created can be found in the "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Men of War Assault Squad 2\resource\map" folder. The folder named "test" is the new map you created, "test1.mi" in the "test" folder is your task file, and the file named "map" is your map text file.
3. The files you need to modify are "test1.mi" and "map", both of which are opened in text format (notepad or vscode is recommended), and then follow the method given on the introduction page above.

i cant find the folder i need to modify for being able to use this mod in the editor, i mean is this map specific?
