Hey btw your tradition doesn't have the extra prestige cost when replacing a tradition, you might want to fix that real quick

Fellow Aegon II supporter, judging by the pfp?

updated, though I should note that in most cases it really won't matter if the mod is outdated.

still works, its been "outdated" on my launcher after every update and it keeps working and even works in the GOT mod

Does this still work on the current version, with the new DLC?

awesome mod, i turned down the MAA buffs down to 1 personally but i like the overall structure of it

having like 12 men at arms while everyone else has like 5-8 is pretty worth it, your not able to go and fight entire kingdoms by yourself but your a more than capable army on your own, just pick a good landing spots for naval invasions or you'll be spending more money for a few months rebuilding troops
Ur_3mp3ror 31. juli 2024 kl. 9:02
Great mod but the buffs aren't worth the 35% maintenance
Proud Lemming 16. juli 2024 kl. 1:24
Should probably cost like, 12k prestige instead of 2k

Just FYI this messes up the GUI for some traditions if you use other traditions mods. E.g., the Witch Coven tradition become witch_coven_election (or similar) and a few others are screwed up as well if this is loaded after the other traditions mod. If it's loaded before, then the naming protocol for this tradition gets similarly screwed up. So some patching is required apparently.
Datguy47 9. juni 2024 kl. 22:11
should probably cost more prestige

All AI rulers with this tradition will probably get steamrolled by neighbors, unless they're already making a lot of money. AI can't manage money and AI doesn't properly factor in unit strength when declaring war -- the number of troops is a way more important factor when the game calculates military strength.

I've subscribed to show my support, since the mod is very small, what's the harm? thanks again!

This mod looks pretty dope ngl, but I wouldn't personally use it because as others have said, it's VERY strong, I think honestly it should have a slightly larger upfront MAA cost and maintenance modifier, MUCH larger upfront prestige cost cost, and maybe an addition of a small amount of screen and persuit to some retinues to make them more tough against larger armies, considering this seems to be very tall in nature.

Sorry for the run on sentence lol, thanks for your work on the mod!
sloth1304 6. juni 2024 kl. 12:09
i think this is missing camel cavalry and elephant cavalry as well as archer cavalry
StivKobra 6. juni 2024 kl. 9:24
Considering how this can be extremely strong, I would add a much higher prestige cost to adopt this tradition and recruitment cost for MAA to be +50%.
Other than that, a great concept in on itself. Not sure why we have the pretty much opposite tradition in vanilla yet not this.
tolaburke 6. juni 2024 kl. 7:09
Hmm. You'll win on the field, but sieging and raiding(where you have to beat the Garrison size) could be a problem.
Rubba 5. juni 2024 kl. 17:05
Looks like the tradition is missing archer cav bonuses

I would subtract from vassal levy contribution too, and maybe make all direct vassals be mor elikely to join factions as they now have more full time soldiers who become loyal to their lord/governor etc.
pavel 5. juni 2024 kl. 13:27
this is overpowered for when you have a good income and can have a normal men-at-arms army, as you won't really use levies anyway and moeny wouldn't be a problem
Mace  [ophavsmand] 5. juni 2024 kl. 13:15
@Stim The One

Well you no longer have to worry about levy maintenance, and seeing as the MAA have been substantially buffed, I think it makes sense that the extra cost would reflect their better equipment and training.
Stim The One 5. juni 2024 kl. 10:43
Honestly, it might be a good balance to make the costs go down a bit. Those are some big advantages, yes... but with such a big cut on levies, it should balance out the cost. Elder kings has a tradition where you focus more on men at arms and it reduces the cost a tad.
Lemon Soul 5. juni 2024 kl. 5:49
it's good as is
HonestChanges 5. juni 2024 kl. 1:45
Hi again, I was wondering of a Separate Tradition like this one. A Tradition that offers Schemer Resistance, Schemer Discovered chance, Overall more protection against Murders, your courtiers not plotting against each other, Your wife being totally faithful and has the ability to refuse these silly Sexual advances from your vassals kitchen cook. Anyways just some ideas
The Joy 4. juni 2024 kl. 17:30
looks like op tradition if you are tribal viking:VBCOOL:
HonestChanges 4. juni 2024 kl. 1:02
Brilliant addition, Thank you

every culture in this time period has trained retinues and almost no culture has mass conscription yet, even the Byzantines.
albert fentstein 2. juni 2024 kl. 11:54
If you gonna make -75 then might as well make menatarms cheap
PokeMageTech - ProNetNeutrality 2. juni 2024 kl. 9:48
That *seems* pretty strong, but I usually play as a Greek character so I'm already pretty dependant on MaA
Spaceracer 2. juni 2024 kl. 6:23
I think that's too much, though -85% could work
LIEUTENANT LIBER-D 2. juni 2024 kl. 0:12
change the levy size to -95%?
