Yes and No, while "DaRules" do allow for some controll over the items, it will not allow rotating items (like Isaac's birthright, Binge Eater or Soul of Isaac) to work with multiple options, nor can you specify dynamiclly which item pool to draw from (unless you reset that every time you need a nother room). But when you need to manually set the room/pool you might as well just spawn you desired item when pressing a button.

This mod is for rigging the game (which is still cheating, kinda), not plain out cheating in any situation.

For anyone wondering you can do this with "darules" mod, simply add a rule that forces the game to reroll the item breakfast into a random item from whatever pool you desire it to be, you can make it be from the treasure pool like it is normally or set to be by the rooms pool

custom items are not included/supported (as stated in my little rant in the mod description).

At least not out-of-the-box, if you are a modder, you can easily add any item from any mod by just calling the ID Storages of this mod, or add an entirely new lootpool if wanted, i made it modular in that regard.

Chaos works as it should.

Meaning it will exhaust every item pool first, then when breakfast mode would begin since no more items exist, the mod "refills" the pool.

what happens if i use chaos btw? will the stuff be chaos'd or still from the item pool the items are in

Quick Statement for Repentance+:

In its current state its mostunlikely that i will make any updates to the mod.
Multiple reasons:
a) Multiple Player are (as of right now) not documented in the modding api
b) Since multiple "ways" of handling collectables is now possible, it would require a ui with settings if item lockout is for all players or each specific
c) [Most importantly] i dont give a single ♥♥♥♥ about multiplayer. (nor do i have anyone to play it with) So let me rigg the game in peace, alone.

Actually... wait a moment, i can not code it so, it automaticly detects new pools and items.
BUT people who have a clue of coding could.
in theory making addons for this mod should be quite easy.
Which would allow, making new item pool entries as well as add modded items to existing pools.

In theory. Im not the biggest Lua knowledgebase, but if another mod can reference this mod after all inital load's are done, then you should be able to manipulate the item table, my mod uses.

Depends on what you mean with "fixed". Getting Breakfast is intentended by the game.
The Pool Expansion [Curse] -> [Curse + Treasure] might be Repentance, but im not familiar with the API of older versions.

iirc, wasn't this already fixed in Repentance? I swear it was, since I haven't had this issue since it dropped. But, of course, my experience doesn't match everyone's, so I'm genuinely curious here.

no, but you can get the code directly from the mod.
its literally in your mods folder.
everything is in main.lua
