If you used the method I described on the VPE comments to remove one of the psylinks, you will have issues where your psyfocus bar does not show up. I have since delete that comment, since it was not sound advice, and was just a workaround. VPE should be working properly after the latest update.

this was a difficult odd issue to find in the mod list as I hadnt unlocked any psy ability with vanilla psycast expanded until later in the game. then the pawn couldnt sleep randomly.
JobDriver.GetReport() exception: NullReferenceException Caused by VanillaPsycastsExpanded.StatPart_NearbyFoci in combination with SleepMeditation.JobDriver_LayDown.
shows that the job report function (GetReport) of the Sleep Meditation mod accesses Psyfocus bonuses from VPE (Vanilla Psycasts Expanded), but no valid focus object is available – resulting in null.

I hope you have the time to look into it! I'll disable the mod for the time being but hope you'll find a fix for it! : )
