I definitely agree. The more chances the better.

They only do one warpaint case per year, IMO it should be 2 a year with summer guaranteed and halloween and winter rotating

I added some in-game shots, as well as made the default chips/scratches slightly more apparent and slighly lightened the sticker based on feedback.

@Ozone The toolbox is actually shiny, Valve put the phongboost and phongexponent parameters on it to make it shinier. The closest thing available to war paint creators is the Macaw Masked vmt (albedo tint), which also uses the increased phongboost and phongexponent parameters.

@fantach There actually are some paint chips and scratches even on factory new. They're small but they're there. I figured if someone wants more chips they could choose a different wear. It's intentionally customizable.

Looks a bit too shiny, maybe. The Toolbox doesn't have albedo tint afaik, so it kinda looks off

if you look at engineer's toolbox there are some little gray parts. I know you are trying to add this detail through the custom wear but if these gray parts were present in the main texture itself i think it would look a lot closer to the toolbox.

love this design, the wear actually compliments the paint and doesn't make it look noisy at lower wears

Yeah, this was specifically a workaround because of the lack of team colored stickers. It's at a halfway point between the orange of RED and the yellow of BLU, and I even lightened it a bit further during testing. It's definitely tricky but I'll take a look again.

You could try doing a yellow-to-orange gradient on the sticker but i don't know how much that would help pop-out / keep team neutrality since team-specific stickers were never implemented.

There could be a bit more contrast with the sticker and the red primary texture, since it blends in. Simple yet effective paint.

A random 2 digit number for the sticker would add a lot to this war paint.
