For all the cool cats saying there's no lighting, have you tried setting HDR to "Full (If Available)"? If that doesn't work then I think this map is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I don't have the original .vmf file anymore, so this map shall remain in limbo.

like 17lakect. I too have the same issues, no lighing or HDR lighting, goes for this and the nigth version.

is there a fix to this?

There's no lighting or HDR lighting, everything is bright

Its unknown exactly when in the 2000s Hλlf Life 1 takes place its assumed the early to mid 2000s so 9/11 could've happened before the 7 hour war.

my guess it is set where black mesa happened but was contained and due to that fact the government was on high alert already so it was harder for terrorist to invade. because if i am not wrong if its sat in the hl universe the towers fell because of the seven hour war.

We're fed up with the creators of the workshop who can't even make packages of models from other games. It's not up to the player to bust their ass to make your map work.

Not sure what the deal with the cubemap stuff is. Might be on an individual level. I ran the map with mat_specular 1 and everything looks fine enough. Maybe try typing "mat_specular 0" in console?
