Im maybe a bit biased as someone from minnesota but this map is pretty good, I always loved winter/snow environments in games so naturally i digged this as well, i'd say you captured the feeling of a minnesota winter well lol

What can I say... you've done it again.

Pacing, events, creativity, finale - all top notch.

The effort you put in to the panic events/quests (e.g. 3 signals in house, 3 steps to override security door for the corpo building) were so impressive and added more atmosphere to the really high-effort environment you built. The storyline you threaded through the campaign was the cherry on top.

Best L4D2 mapper.

I have some mods installed but not a single crash. Very ambitious, balanced, lots of content, and great attention to detail. I may not get all references but Resident Evil 2 reference was there underneath one of the stairs next to the grenade launcher

After a lot of playthroughs on expert difficulty, I want to say that the final part of the finale is too difficult in my opinion (especially the tank at the end, which is so close that it doesn't even give the survivors a chance to get on the truck), and there is still a problem with random crashes during loading and severe stuttering after leaving the safe house on each new map (these stutters are indeed more severe than on other custom maps, such as the Cold Front campaign). And from the really good aspects I want to note that the campaign is really unique (cut phrases of the survivors about the snow are used (even in Russian), green guards from the game files are used, but its atmosphere is a little spoiled by Easter eggs such as the coach's head in the refrigerator or the lack of random tanks and too many similar quests for finding things. But this map has a really good feeling of atmosphere and references to resident evil only make it better.

One of the best campaigns I have played on the workshop!

Astounding campaign! This was a wonderful addition to the Left 4 Dead storyline, and a wonderful use of new and exciting mission objectives. I personally loved the use of Halo 3's bunker textures used throughout it. Keep on making amazing campaigns!

The campaign is great, but sometimes it crashes randomly when loading. I'm playing without mods, and I've even tried running it without other campaigns, but it still crashes.

Since there seems to be some confusion about this, Valve's Missing Content Fix is not required to play Freezing Point DC. That mod only helps with campaigns that were made between 2011-2013 or so. Any texture issues are either random glitches or a conflict caused by a different mod you installed on your PC.

@Twister567 you need to be using Valve's Missing Content Fix. the problem ur having isn't specific to this map

It crashes for me too while loading the campaign.

I have rare crashes too, the game is without mods.

It's a pretty fun map. Easy to play.

easy but very decent map 10/10

So I disabled a few model mods to see if the second level would finally load, somehow that made the map crash upon starting and upon restarting the game, the second level still doesn't load. I did this map fine once until the third level and since then it doesn't load, I was using the same amount of model mods then as I do now.

10/10, the AI that went Italian made my laugh

Its fun, but the problem is thats its a TAD BIT too long

Nah your level's name didn't lie, it immediately freezes while loading to the second map on THE LITERAL FIRST SAFE ROOM.

If I had to guess, that might be an issue with another one of your mods changing the main menus in some way, but I'm not sure. Make sure to reinstall FP:DC and restart L4D2 if you haven't already. Sorry I can't be more helpful!
