I appreciate the additional context, and I am very sorry that happened to you. Maybe - in a very small way - making these mods available to the community again outside of their influence is a little bit of justice. It's possible they could return to ask I remove them, and I have to respect author's wishes - but I highly doubt they'll be wandering back to the scene of the crime to request I down these any time soon.

So I don't know about anyone else, but I commissoned suvi to make a mod called "Zenith Mechanoids" that had been posted to the rimworld subreddit just as a concept. She repeatedly made excuses while not showing any progress, not even any WIPS, she eventually ghosted me and I had to do charge-backs to get my money back, but I still lost a lot from her patreon (which was also a load of false promises) which I couldn't get refunded. I'm still pissed if it isn't obvious, but I can't deny that her mods are really fun, which was why I commissoned her in the first place. I definitely made some not so smart decisions, but still. I believe she was also banned from the rimworld mod market discord for similar reasons.

Incredible, Zaljerem! Thank you so much for your hard work of archiving and keeping abandoned mods like these up to date and working! I'm not sure how often you get told this, but people like you are an invaluable part to Rimworld modding as far as I'm concerned. There are so many good mods that got left behind as the game moved on, so seeing them get some proper treatment is always a welcome sight.

I'd like to know as well. Scummy of Suvi to do whatever they did, but the internet does make things like that more accessible to that sort of people. Still, I wonder if anyone has a backup of their Ilya Tech mod somewhere. There's the old Chinese translation for 1.3 that's still up. Could probably be retranslated back to English as needed, but IDK if that has the most recent artwork the last official version had. Scummy as Suvi may have been, they had talent at the very least, and I'd like to keep personal backups of these mods around. I just never got around to it cause I've not played Rimworld recently either, so I'm making backups of these continued versions, just in case.
