Hey, this faction is just for IE/IEE? You should prob mention that in the description to help folks.

I tried it with The Old World but it crashes end turn #1 (not used by me, but by AI). Maybe it could also be made compatible? <3

any plans for quests battles? also they dont seem to get starting quests like a normal faction.
lastly i think this mod reset the grudges back to the exponential increasing requirement for grudges every age

Cool concept. I am facing end of turn crashes every campaign with it (if i load a save, it still crashes), do you know any incompatibility with other mods ?

I saw in the modding discord about your request for faction key to mixu. Mixu mentioned in the discord he has already updated his unlocker with your faction key. Hoping that you can proceed with using that key so that it wont overlap with other factions.

If people are using Mixu's Legendary Lords and want to use this faction all they have to do is turn off Kazador Dragonslayer in the Mod configuration Tool settings for Mixu's Legendary Lords

Hello @LORD ARANTIR, I feel as though I should tell you that you may have a complication in compatibility with another mod if you intend to go through with moving your faction to Karak Azorn. Apparently there is a mod that already gives that faction LLs and Heroes but makes them Cathayan.

I mean, ideally, if there was a way to make it all compatible with each other, of course we would all love it. But I'm not asking because you have done so much for us in the first place. :steamthumbsup:

Oh, and there are 1-2 Nippon factions being worked on (I think it's a pretty large Nippon project) which will probably have their spots reserved already in the region. They might just exchange the 2 placeholder "Nippon" (aka Cathay right now) factions there, but I'm just putting 1 and 1 together. If you know more, feel free to clarify. People in the Modding Den Discord should know more, I believe "Urgat" is one of the modders on the Nippon project <3

For IEE/Ind region, I believe any faction mod can also "apply" to get a permanent spot on the map. For this, I guess you have to somehow reach out to Mixu (or go via Modding Den, somebody will know how that process works) and maybe 1-3 sentences of explanation why it fits well - whether it's lore reasons, sheer availability, nearby factions/regions or simply because the compatibility with major popular mods was checked with the lovely peeps in this comment section and seemed good <3

Hey dear mod maker, Karak Azorn and on IEE maybe in the Ind region (see comment further down below) sounds like pretty great suggestions, and I believe this basically could solve your entire problem - while taking ALL common other mods into account that are used by lots of mod users, if I'm not mistaken

The most important ones being IEE, LCCP (for IEE), Tribes Of The North (the latter 2 being relevant as they repopulate the map quite a bit), the Dwarf Legendary Characters mod by GHS and the Dwarf Characters mod by Phyrex - and of course Mixu's Legendary Lords, Mixer + Strat's Legendary Characters.

(If any of this is wrong, if using these common mods will create a problem I have not considered yet or if any of this can be explained or summarized better, please do so .... @all)

just bc of the discussion in the comments, karak azorn is the only clan without a LL mod in my experience, so u could just slot right in there, but i dont mind turning one off to try this out. seems rly neat

I think modders look out for eachother, if you pick a spot on the new IE modded regions, I'm sure nobody else will make a faction exactly there and IF they do, you will be able to say you've done it first so it's not your problem

In the current case, Mixu did it first, which puts the burden on you.

It's NOT a big deal though. It's just that most of us who install new factions probably install all the ones we can find and Mixu's the most prominent set.

gentlemen id like to do what you guys are asking. but there are 2 thnigs. one there are so many mods i cant possibly make the mod compatible with them, it will clash with another mod if i try the things you say and someone else will come and say its clashing with "..." mod can we change "...".second thing is even i make these changes its somehow compatible with everything i rather use that time on making another faction or something like that.

I think with the Immortal Empires Expanded mod, you should relocate Dain's Expedition to Ind/Kuresh. It's the perfect opportunity to help populate that new landmass with new LL's.

@LORD ARANTIR could you relocate Dain's Expedition to clan Helhein, I ask because I'm running Mixu's Legendary Lords and Karak Azul already has a Legendary Lord. When I run your mod with Mixu's it seem to overwrite Karak Azul's Lord

Mixu's LLs adds Kazador as a Lord and startpos, but i just found out you can turn him off at the mod settings.

Doing that makes Arantir function normally :crowing:

This sounds awesome! You should probably mention some specifics on compatibility with other Dawi mods, like the GHS Legendary Characters mod or the Dwarf Character Expansion. Maybe even some Dawi mods you'd recommend as they fit well with your faction.

I assume you play with the 2 mods I mentioned anyway, correct?
