would be nice but afaik i cant do that since its a megastructure texture not a planet
Professor Mutt 2. feb. kl. 15:46
I wish the land features had city lights on them.

I think they probably asked about the voidsphere because the void BIRCH is an upgrade to the birch world, and uses the voidsphere model (mostly, anyway, it is slightly different)

keep yourself safe sparble
Sparble 12. aug. 2024 kl. 7:37
@ilfrith does this affect gigas systemcraft or the prethoryn scourge?
vanillaification  [ophavsmand] 8. aug. 2024 kl. 6:27
this literally only affects the birch world model why the hell would it touch the voidsphere
WAFFEL E100 8. aug. 2024 kl. 6:24
does this work with the acot voidsphere or does it revert back to the normal viewmodel for it?
vanillaification  [ophavsmand] 20. apr. 2024 kl. 0:31
i have no fucking idea lmao, it might or might not be since it edits the gigas planet file for the birch world
googoogly 19. apr. 2024 kl. 21:01
just curious, is this mod client-side?
vanillaification  [ophavsmand] 31. mar. 2024 kl. 6:01
@crimsonb4ndit the original mod is gigastructural engineering & more, and yes it is required as it adds the megastructure itself and this mod would be useless without it
crimsonb4ndit 30. mar. 2024 kl. 20:44
Hi! Do I need the original Mod, and if i do what is it called?
Orioncat 16. mar. 2024 kl. 8:51
I'm pretty sure the birch world shield is the reason that this mod does not work on alondia
Slushy 27. feb. 2024 kl. 9:04
Thanks for the quick response:steamthumbsup:
vanillaification  [ophavsmand] 27. feb. 2024 kl. 5:15
this should still work with 3.11 btw
vanillaification  [ophavsmand] 25. feb. 2024 kl. 7:17
@Slushy below gigas
Slushy 25. feb. 2024 kl. 7:15
Hello! I just have one question: Does this mod need to be loaded above or below Gigastructural engineering in the load order?
vanillaification  [ophavsmand] 16. feb. 2024 kl. 4:34
@Archailect maybe? i havent tested it
Archailect 15. feb. 2024 kl. 23:20
Inerael 14. feb. 2024 kl. 3:58
oh, ok thanks you, yours is beautiful :)
vanillaification  [ophavsmand] 13. feb. 2024 kl. 19:23
no it isnt
Inerael 13. feb. 2024 kl. 18:56
is birch world not in the base game ?
vanillaification  [ophavsmand] 12. feb. 2024 kl. 0:01
@ShadowVoyd I asusme you have it loaded below gigas but if youre looking at aiondia it isnt going to change since it uses a different entity model, if you built it yourself or are using the decaying birch origin then idfk
ShadowVoyd 11. feb. 2024 kl. 23:10
despite being low in my load order this retexture doesn't show for me in game.
Gazingus Dingle Bordaviq VI 11. feb. 2024 kl. 14:33
finally something that doesnt look like a giant metal ball with a bunch of chicken scratch
Juliking 11. feb. 2024 kl. 13:57
@Oceania oh just think about the biomes, each are as large as a planet if not more a planet sized forest, or desert?
The Doom Slayer 11. feb. 2024 kl. 9:06
MAKE A GIENT TERUT ON BERK WOLEDS
Oceania 11. feb. 2024 kl. 0:11
Man, continents the size of multiple solar systems, must say it puts things into better prospective
Schmeeda 10. feb. 2024 kl. 3:34
Ahh I see
vanillaification  [ophavsmand] 10. feb. 2024 kl. 0:28
@Pelennor Whitstreak there isnt one, the remastered model used for this mod is an active project within gigas itself that ttft is making, the files exist in the gigas download theyre just inactive
Schmeeda 9. feb. 2024 kl. 22:55
Could you post a link to the original Birch World Remaster mod?
MadamLava 9. feb. 2024 kl. 18:07
Oh, this model! I've been waiting to see it used for ages, its so good
vanillaification  [ophavsmand] 9. feb. 2024 kl. 12:04
and uh yeah, if this retexture was realistic itd just be brown noise on the surface lol
vanillaification  [ophavsmand] 9. feb. 2024 kl. 12:04
@Zionus5 the entire structure is built ontop of layers and layers of itself, it doesnt spin like a ringworld would since it uses the supermassive blackholes gravity as its own gravity
TTFTCUTS 9. feb. 2024 kl. 11:33
@Zionus5: the structure of a Birch World would be thousands or even millions of concentric shells, each one with artificial environments. Gravity pulls downward towards the black hole. The real "inaccuracy" is that the outer layers would have anything really visible on them at all, because at that scale even the largest continents would be fine noise, too small to see.

Heck, whole *planets* placed on the surface would be vanishingly small.
Zionus5 9. feb. 2024 kl. 10:49
i always though the habital section faced inward. I question how the people living here woudl get heat... This looks great
Thauma' 9. feb. 2024 kl. 10:18
This is beautiful!
vanillaification  [ophavsmand] 8. feb. 2024 kl. 14:55
should be fixed now :steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup:
vanillaification  [ophavsmand] 8. feb. 2024 kl. 14:41
@Onyx Knight what the fuck, just tested this and apparently it does, ill try and see whats breaking this
Onyx Knight 8. feb. 2024 kl. 14:16
So I love the visual model but using this mod with the Decaying Birch World Origin puts and fixes the station starbase in orbit of Edge of Eternity but said station never registers that the system in now claimed. I tried 'effect dismantle = yes' on Edge of Eternity station but it was not able to correct itself.
Sparble 8. feb. 2024 kl. 13:13
Please note that the remodeled Birch in this mod was made by TTFTCUTS as part of the Birch world remaster. The models already exist in the main mod, this just activates the model and retextures the cells to look more like Virgo Birch Planet.
