I know its probably not possible, but is there anyway to get back item removers to work online?

this mod accidently removes medkits as a side effect of making the diesel can invisible, could you potentially do something with this method?

assuming you're asking for the melees to have the same placement as the firearms, yes, though they will keep they orentation so it might look weird. But again, that would require editing all melee weapon scripts by hand so I'm putting this on the TO-DO list until I can figure out a way to automate it.

Good job on just replacing the bone name with some long weird name. After studying this and upgrade packs I just did it for the rest by myself and I'm taking out items out of nowhere lol.

Just to bring up something, modders have made it where the position of the medkit is in a different spot based on the model as well as the mod, take for example the Division skins Scream did for both L4D1 and L4D2, the medkit is moved to a different position on the model rather than just removing it from the model.

It's on the to-do list, albeit not the highest item up there.
I'll probably group all items that go on the belt into one addon since making multiple addons then linking by collection like this is pretty messy. (cite: this has 108 subs and the other two had 36 and 18 subs respectively, which means there are dozens of people not getting the full experience)
It *should* be called "Belt Pockets (Script)" or something but that might be subject to change ;)

Good question! If you're asking about removing the entire attachment line, I wanted to make sure it adhered to standards and have ease of re-editing thus removing it won't do. As for the name, it has no meaning whatsoever, it's just a long and random string that nobody will ever use as a bone name - since that's what it does: it looks for the bone of that name and sticks the model to it. I'm not sure if any compiler take a empty bone name (since if it does a empty bone in the attachments will still show up) so I played it safe and put in a long mumbo jumbo name

Hello senzawa, I am curious about how you made your script since I have mine too like this but I kept it personally. So my questions is what's the difference where you put in on the addonattachment as "MUMBO_JUMBO_c4e1d135c57403bc72c6069b1a9b24d7"? For my addon, I just left it blank and it did have the same result. Could you tell me what's the reason for adding that line?

Kinda thinking the same method as ChimiChamo, I would use a think function to change the medkit's rendermode or renderamt if you are not holding it.

But who knows? Probably someone has a better idea.

I’m thinking could you not just set the rendermode of the medkit on the player’s back to not render so you wouldn’t have to modify the weapon scripts?
