Mod doesnt work with lifestyle hobbies at all , and without hobbies it ruins my base for some reason. If this worked with lifestyle hobbies it would be perfect, sadly it does not

Edit to bug report: I should have mentioned that I was sitting on a red oak chair when I started up. However, when i unpause, I'm instantly standing if I tried moving before unpausing. Happens every time, still no issues beyond the error message. Hope this is useful, thank for making the mod!

Hey, I don't know where to make a bug report other than this. I noticed that the game throws an error message when trying to move before I start time. It seems like controls are still active, and don't deactivate until I pause again. Just a heads up, it caused no issues.
(This was on Build 42.12.3, Windows 10)

Can be added midsave. For those trying to resurrect. Remember to disable lifestyle hobbies. Spent 2 hrs trouble shooting and that is literally the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mod that disables all these pause on start mods lol

Saved my run from a weird glitch. My character couldn't move at all and was locked in place. Couldn't shove, attack, walk, or do much of anything other than spin in circles while zombies enjoyed their free meal.

For some reason this mod doesn't seem to work with Lifestyle Hobbies, even when loaded the way it says to here (with this mod being after Lifestyle Hobbies in the load order, though I checked flipping them around just to be sure). I do have a lot of other mods, but when disabling lifestyle hobbies this mod works just fine.

Maybe the recent update from lifestyle hobbies did something?

build 42 compatible?

A gift from the heavens for my fear-and-anxiety-tortured "Do I gonna die if I quit here?" mind. Shame I haven't learnt of its existence when I was playing, now I'm on a break until B42 shows up. It's a game changer, I no longer have to clear entire areas and play half a day sessions just to safely stop playing the game. And I can finally start games with insane population in "normal" areas (outside modded safe places because on 16x modifier zombies are literally almost everywhere). Is it even possible to quit in "not-so-safe" situations, like in an open field outside a vehicle or a building or even with zombies around? This mod has to transition to B42 when the time comes.

Yes Lifestyle Hobbies forces the game to unpause. I'll see if I can make a workaround.

Can confirm with SwankeMonke that this ain't compatible with Lifestyle Hobbies :(

This doesn't work with Lifestyle Hobbies, at least on a fresh start with 300+ mods. I tried putting it at the end of the load order as well and no dice.

I did test it out but the save games don't start with pause.

I obviously did enable it in the mods for the save but still doesn't work even with new saves, bzw it only seems to work once at the start of a new save and after that it no longer works

@Ryan Yes it does. You just have to enable the mod in your save file. Not just under "Mods" in the main manu.
Click "Load"-> "More" -> "Choose Mods"

@LordWolfi No this can be used anytime. You have to enable new mods on your save file though as with any new mod.

It probably won't be compatible with MP fast forward, at least for other players, ig for the local host it will be more than good.

If you're adding to a game in progress make sure you use the add mods button on the load game screen. Just adding it to your activated mods on the main menu isn't enough if it's an existing game.

This is as simple as it gets. There is an Event OnGameStart, the Game speed is set to zero.
Only functions in Single Player. Otherwise yes you would have to have some strangely coded mod that sets the speed to one.

This did not appear to work for me, i use a lot of mods so its possibly a conflict somewhere
